This week has seen the air war in Ukraine/Russia intensify dramatically as the former seeks to compete with the Israelis in committing war crimes. Some say that the Russian missile/drone attacks launched over this week have been the heaviest of the war. Are these attacks a prelude to a large Russian offensive from the north, as some Ukrainians fear, or are they revenge for the civilians killed in Belgorod? I don’t go along with this revenge notion - though some of the ‘experts’ do. Revenge is for public consumption but this weeks’ raids followed blueprints that have been in existence for a while: this is part of Russian contingency planning with military objectives - or so it seems to little inexpert me. The attacks on Nazi symbols have been thrown in along with a claim that Russia is avenging Belgorod to boost public morale: a good portion of the public usually demands revenge.
Elsewhere, in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, the David that is Ansah Allah (i.e. supporters of God) is throwing its pebbles at the ‘Goliath’ US battleships. The Houthis have become heroes for many who oppose Israeli savagery: unlikely heroes who have surprised many at the influence they have been able to exert in world affairs. 12% of the world’s shipping goes through the Red Sea but ships will not be able to obtain insurance while there is a war going on there. So they will have to go around. But Houthi action could trigger dangerous escalation in the Middle East.
The Year Of Putin
French newspaper Le Parisien has called 2023 ‘The year of Putin’ in view of his success in circumventing sanctions, strengthening the economy, gaining huge popularity levels at home and becoming an important figure on the world stage. He also defeated NATO, of course and inspired a movement against the imperialist West.
Vladimir’s Armies
According to the Russian MoD, in 2023, two new armies, an air corps and another 50 formations/units appeared [at the fronts], including four divisions, 18 brigades and 28 regiments.
Kira Rudyk - RADA MP - Pointlessly Posturing
I am including this photo because it reminded me of a scene from Downfall where a German veteran confronts some children, male and female, including his own son - preparing to fight the Russians in Berlin with a single artillery piece. ‘You will all die when the Russians come’, he warned. And of course, they all died apart from his son who was sensible enough to escape rather than dying for the Führer.
This is pointless posturing by the RADA MP who does not have the excuse of being a brainwashed young girl.
Russia Bad, Ukraine Good
The West, as Alistair Crooke argues perspicuously in this video (27 mins), is in a state of decay including a very noticeable moral decay. Woke morality clearly illustrates this for anyone who is paying attention. But the Doctrine of Double Standards is clearly in evidence in the utterances of politicians throughout the Western world. It is embarrassing to hear statements that lack any logical consistency coming from people who make some claim to be intelligent beings. I am sure you can all provide examples of this. This week saw a German political spokesman, Steffen Hebestreit, condemning the recent Russian drone and missile attacks as war crimes - even though these did not attack civilians - yet he refused to discuss the very deliberate Ukrainian attacks on civilians in Belgorod. Even if it were true that the Russians deliberately targeted civilians then this would be on a par morally with the Ukrainian attacks on Belgorod. Therefore, any moral/rational being questioned about such issues would need to condemn both. But when your moral code consists in judging what friends do to be good and the actions of enemies bad, you will leave yourself open to accusations of inconsistency at best and moral blindness at worse. A moral code must be consistent and logical otherwise it can’t count as a moral code. In practice deontological approaches to morality (i.e. morality based on rules one is obliged to obey out of duty) suffer from accusations of inconsistency on occasion but they have worked for many religions since Moses brought the tablets down from Mount Sinai. But once you start to judge people on the basis of their status rather than their actions, you don’t have a moral leg to stand on. Therefore people such as Steffen Hebestreit are simply amoral; i.e. their actions are not guided by morality in any way: the need to support an ally in war overrides moral considerations for such people. There are many other examples of this as you probably know. According to Medvedev, the French foreign minister called the cluster bomb attacks on Belgorod ‘self defence’ while some have defended Israel over the genocide in Gaza claiming the state has a right to defend itself. (BTW, the best form of defence for an occupying state is to leave!). This amorality is one of the main differences between many secular Westerners and those who are guided by religious values in the east. And amorality is a prominent characteristic of an imploding Empire.
Ukraine’s War Criminals Will Be Brought To Justice
On New Year’s eve, Sergei Lavrov told journalists that 900 suspected war criminals, including key members of the Kiev regime and neo-Nazi leaders are under investigation. Zelensky and Budanov are probably on that list. 200 members of Ukraine’s armed forces have already been sentenced, according to Sputnik.
Shell Shortages (yet again)
Russian diplomat, Konstantin Gavrilov, has said that Ukraine’s stocks of weapons are exhausted and that this is becoming evident on the battlefronts. The Ukrainians are responding to 10 or 20 Russian shells with only a few of their own. Gavrilov believes that shell stocks from the NATO and the West are so severely depleted that ‘spikes’ of shell deliveries in future are unlikely - according to RT. Vladimir Putin summed the situation up well:
The AFU spends 5-6 thousand 155-mm shells per day, while the USA produces only 14 thousand per month, exhaustion occurs quite quickly.
The UK has said that its weapon supplies are now almost completely exhausted having spent $5.7 billions on providing Ukraine with war materiel since February 2024 - according to RT. This money could have been spent on the National Health Service which is falling apart. I can’t avoid getting angry about this because it is impacting negatively on myself and family members .
Ukraine Press Gangs Employ Gentle Persuasion
The Ukrainians are now sending disabled people to the front including some with Downs Syndrome as you can see from this short video. I have to warn you that this video is one of the most disgusting I have seen and demonstrates how depraved the Ukrainian regime has become.
Mass Disobedience
The Ukrainian SBU has recorded a total of 14,886 incidents of refusal to fight among military personnel during 2023. At the time of writing, 37,000 Ukrainians are on a list of those who are avoiding military service.
No Auld Lang Syne for Ukrainians
The authoritarian state that Ukraine has become has banned its subjects from getting together on New Year’s Eve. Anyone venturing out could be redirected to the recruitment centre or put in jail. I think I would prefer the latter.
Z Visits Avdeevka
Z’s (alleged) visit to Avdeevka on the 29th December was not welcomed by some because his previous visits to under threat cities appear to have hastened their collapse, some believe. Zelensky is gaining a reputation for being a bad omen which will not serve him well.
Hacker War
Russian hackers have been inside Ukraine’s Telecom Company, Kievstar, ‘wiping out nearly everything’ and ‘completely destroying the core of the telecoms company’. This serves to remind people that no one is untouchable, a Ukrainians source warned.
Ukraine Terror Attacks (attacks that target civilians)
The increase in Ukrainian terrorist attacks that has happened this week represents a landmark in the sense that the Russians can no longer consider negotiating with what is now without doubt a terrorist regime. I cannot honestly see the Russians negotiating with the Zelensky regime though they may negotiate with a replacement regime that is not terrorist. Alex Mercouris provides some analysis here (28 mins) for those who are interested.
In the DPR, since 2014, more than 9,000 civilians including 233 children have been killed as a result of the conflict. The figures since the start of the SMO in Feb 2022 are 4778 and 142 respectively - according to Slavyangrad.
29th/30th December
Belgorod came under massive attack from the Ukrainians who probably felt they should make an effort after Ukraine suffered a massive air attack from the Russians. The Belgorod regional governor provides much detail here. 13 missiles were shot down over the region, according to Slavyangrad. Many residential buildings and cars were destroyed, damage was caused to the water supply, one man was killed in his house and four were injured elsewhere. One of these injured civilians, a child of nine, subsequently died from her injuries. Another report claimed that two children had been killed in Belgorod city centre. I should stress that the targets of these strikes were all civilian, including an ice rink/sports complex, a cinema and a University. Later reports claimed that 25 people had been killed (including three children) and another 131 injured. The Russians have responded by attacking the source of these attacks in Volchansk (Kharkov), systematically destroying the firing points used. There is some evidence that the Ukrainians used cluster munitions to target civilians.
Maria Zakharova has accused Britain, in association with the US, of assisting Ukraine in carrying out the attacks on Belgorod and has requested a meeting of the UN Security Council to discuss this. The UN has condemned the attacks on civilians and Secretary General, Gutteres has called for them to stop. The once great Z has made his feelings clear regarding these terrorist attacks. "We will continue to strengthen our air defenses and work to bring the war back to this HUMAN SCUM where it came from - home to Russia," he said.
With reference to the Ukrainians, ex US army Colonel Rasmussen told Sputnik:
I think they’re just trying to strike at anything and inflict whatever type of damage they can rather than rationally coming to a negotiated settlement or accepting the outcome. They’re in denial and delusion and they’re just trying to lash out. And it’s unfortunate civilians are being killed. It’s a pattern of theirs, and I think it’s a sign of desperation.
I think there’s an element of revenge as well as desperation in Ukraine’s motivation here. They know they have lost so we can expect lots of nasty things from them: a dirty bomb or an attack on the Zaporizhzhe nuclear power station are both possible.
The Western media, as expected, has largely ignored the terrorist attacks on Belgorod. At least a dozen Russian cities cancelled public New Year celebrations in sympathy with the citizens of Belgorod.
It is being reported that Zelensky himself ordered the attacks on civilians which were entrusted to Budanov and the Kraken regiment.
Four drones were shot down over Bryansk overnight and a number of drones were destroyed over Moscow region. According to the Russian MoD:
At night, 32 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and destroyed over the Moscow, Bryansk, Oryol, and Kursk regions.
30th/31st December
Villages in Belgorod have come under heavy artillery fire for a second day in a row. In the village of Krasnoye shell fragments killed an elderly man sheltering in a shop and injured a shop assistant.
31st Dec/1st January 2024
According to the Two Majors:
Over the past 24 hours, the Nazis have attacked Donetsk and the Belgorod region. The DPR was hit with MLRS. There are wounded and dead among the civilian population, and our journalists are reported to be death. The Nazis hit Kursk and tried to attack the Rostov region.
Tass reported that 13 people were injured in MLRS attacks on the DPR while four were killed.
Later it was reported that seven civilians were injured and a man (possibly a journalist) was killed in the DPR.
1st/2nd January
The Two Majors gave this report:
The enemy has intensified terrorist attacks on civilians. In Kursk region, the village of Troitskoye in Korenevsky district was shelled. Over the Bryansk region, enemy UAVs were destroyed. The number of shells fired by the AFU in the Belgorod region has equalled the frequency of strikes on the civilian population of the DPR: about 200 munitions per day. Yesterday, the Nazis hit the settlement of Krasnoye in the Shebekinsky urban district, a child miraculously survived in a room, and the settlement of Bogun town in the Borisov district. In the DPR 5 civilians were killed, 14 wounded. The Nazis are using MLRS, including HIMARS, and cluster artillery ammunition.
2nd/3rd January
According to the Military Chronicle:
At night, 9 air targets were shot down over Belgorod on approach: two Tochka-U missiles and 7 Vilkha MLRS missiles. On the approach to Sevastopol at night, an enemy missile was also shot down.
According to another report, the missile referred to above was a Stormshadow which was shot down along with the SU-24 aircraft that launched it. One civilian was injured by the latest attacks on Belgorod. Five ‘Olkha’ missiles were also shot down over the region around noon and at 2.30 in the afternoon another eight were shot down. Belgorod has also suffered intense shelling overnight, killing one civilian and injuring eleven others. The Two Majors provide a detailed account of the attack for anyone interested in the detail. Given the amount of ordnance launched the casualties were mercifully low.
3rd/4th January
According to sitreports:
In the Belgorod region, there is constant shelling by the AFU in the following areas: Glotovo and Zamostye in the Grayvoron urban district, Murom village in the Shebekinsky urban district. In Kursk region after an AFU strike, a substation in Zheleznogorsk district was being repaired. On the civilians of the DPR the enemy fired 275 rounds of ammunition, two civilians were wounded.
Later, the governor of Sevastopol reported that several missiles had been shot down. ‘The military is working to destroy a large number of air targets’, he said. In the afternoon, it was reported that ten missiles had been destroyed over the Crimean peninsular. A small amount of damage was caused and one civilian injured.
4th/5th January
Late on January 4th, according to the Military Chronicle:
10 missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed over Crimea today - this is the most massive attack in recent times. Sevastopol, on Glukhov Street, one piece of shrapnel hit a house, 2 people were injured. In four other places in the city, the sites of the fall of rocket fragments were recorded, there were no casualties. Everyone who posts videos of arrivals on social networks is already wanted by the FSB.
The Ukrainians attacked with 5 Su-24M bombers and two MiG-29 fighters which took off with missile weapons towards Crimea from three airfields. They launched British Storm Shadow missiles and several deceptive ADM-160 MALD missile. A number of missiles and decoys were shot down near Sevastopol.
Ten missiles were also shot down over Belgorod.
At midnight, 36 drones were launched at Crimea, which could be the prelude to another missile attack. According to Rymar:
The drones….began their work over Evpatoria and along the coast of Sevastopol. Of the 36 UAVs, only 11 were shot down by Pantsir-S1 air defense missile systems and rifle squads. The remaining 25 were neutralized by electronic warfare.
At 12 noon a Neptune anti-ship missile was shot down over the north western part of the Black Sea by Russian air defences.
Air War (Map)
Russian Missile Drone Attacks
28th/29th December
The Military Chronicle is suggesting that the large drone/missile attack of the 28th/29th was in retaliation for the sinking of the landing ship in Feodosiya. But I am not convinced the Russians operate on the basis of revenge. Russia could simply be attacking airfields and other facilities to prevent a reoccurrence of such a strike by Stormshadow type missiles launched from SU-24s. In this attack, the Russians launched over 300 X22 missiles, none of which, according to the Ukrainians, was shot down. Among the targets they hit was a tank factory in Lvov. NATO sources are admitting that Ukraine launched 1200 air defence missiles but managed to shoot down only a small number. The night of the attack Ukraine’s air defences launched more missiles than they have done in the last 28 days. Russian Defence Minister Umerov has stated that Russia can make many such attacks and will do so in the future.
There appears to have been a change in the pattern/regularity of drone/missile attacks according to Rybar. Attacks are now launched at 9-10 hour intervals on a continuous basis.
29th/30th December Overnight
Geraniums hit an electricity substation in Kherson district, according to Slavyangrad
30th/31st December Overnight
A military airfield in Odessa was attacked overnight causing many casualties. Kharkov and Kherson also came under attack. In Kharkov the Osnova and Levada railways stations were attacked along with three lubricant/fuel bases. Shahed drones were reported to be attacking towards Zhytomyr, Cherkasy and Kiev while Geraniums attacked through the Chernigov and Sumy regions towards Kiev. In Khmelnitsky, Starokonstantinov airfield came under attack from Geraniums once again.
The Russian MoD has stated that these latest attacks have targeted decision making centres in placed such as Kharkov from which intelligence services gave the orders to attack Belgorod. Concentrations of foreign mercenaries were also attacked. More detail of the targets can be found here. 49 drones and six S-300 missiles were involved in the attacks, according to an Ukrainian source. With regard to the attacks on Kharkov, the Two Majors reported that:
In addition to fuel storage facilities in the Kharkov region, a high-precision missile strike was carried out on the former Kharkov Palace hotel complex. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, during the raid, representatives of the Main Intelligence Directorate and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who were directly involved in the planning and execution of the terrorist attack in Belgorod, were killed.
1st January 2024
According to the Two Majors:
New Year's Eve did not pass quietly on the front. Embittered by the deaths of civilians in Belgorod, the Russian Armed Forces launched massive strikes against targets close and deep behind enemy lines. Warheads were delivered to Odessa, Kharkov, Cherkassy, Vinnitsa, Khmelnytsky, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, and Kherson regions.
Slavyangrad reported that:
According to the enemy, Russian armed forces launched 90 kamikaze drones "Geran-2" (Shahed-136) on New Year's Eve. This is the most massive Geranium strike of all time. Before this, the most massive attack was recorded on November 25, 2023, when 75 kamikaze drones were used.
Among the targets hit were a drone factory in Chuguyev (Kharkov), fuel depots (in Odessa, Dnipro, Nikolaev and Konstantinovka) and SU-24 airfield infrastructure - according to the Russian MoD.
SouthFront reported that:
Among the targets there were the building of the Shukhevych Museum and the Lviv Polytechnic University, “where Stepan Bandera studied”. Shukhevich and Bandera were the accomplices of the Nazis during World War II, ideologists of Ukrainian radical nationalism and they are still recognized as Nazi criminals in a number of countries. Today, they are the modern heroes of Ukraine.
1st/2nd January 2024
Geranium 2s and missiles have been in action over Ukraine overnight targeting air defences, radar, airfields, command and control centres, industrial facilities and warehouses (according to legitimniy). Kiev has been attacked by more than ten Kinzhals according to this report causing damage to electricity substations, air defence systems, water supplies and industrial facilities while four Iskander missiles exploded in Kharkov.
The Two Majors gave this report:
Tonight night explosions and work of the AFU air defence were going on in Kiev, Cherkassy, Nikolayev and Kirovograd regions. In the Zaporozhye region "Geraniums" during the day hit the control points of the AFU. In the morning the enemy recorded the take-off of our 16 TU-95ms and 4 TU-22m3 aircraft.
On the morning of the 2nd January another wave of attacks was launched starting with Geraniums. Thereafter, according to Slavyangrad:
16 Tu-95MS strategic bombers of the Russian Aerospace Forces reached the launch line at about 6.00 and launched at least 70 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 air-launched cruise missiles. From 07.30, launches of ten Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles from MiG-31K fighters were recorded. Three Caliber cruise missiles were launched from the Black Sea, and 12 Iskander ballistic missiles were launched from the northern direction.
Slavyangrad is reporting information provided by the Ukrainian MoD.
2nd/3rd January
Another massive attack drone/missile attack was launched on the evening of 2nd January. Kiev suffered huge damage to industrial facilities including warehouses covering an area of 2000 square metres - according to Mayor Klitschko. Another panicked Ukrainian source summed up the situation thus: ‘TU and SU aircraft, MiGs, Calibers, Ballistics - danger from everything that exists’. Here’s a report from Slavyangrad:
The scale of the damage is not yet clear - SBU censorship suppresses almost any mention of targets actually hit. The enemy posts photos and videos only of those destroyed objects that cannot be hidden from the general public, and the results of the work of their air defense against civilian targets. However according to our data, over the same Kiev, the glow and smoke are visible throughout the city. Kharkov, the Kropyvnytskyi airfield in the Kirovograd region, and military facilities in the Vinnytsia region also suffered.
Slavyangrad judges these attacks to be the most intense of the war and are overwhelming Ukrainian air defences. Civilian casualties have been low compared to those in Belgorod or the DPR - because the Russians are not targeting civilians while the Ukrainians are.
Slavyangrad gave this report of the destruction caused on the 2nd Jan:
Three warehouses and a hangar storing Harpoon anti-ship missiles and missile launcher were destroyed in Odessa. At this time, it is known for sure that a huge number of command posts with British and Polish military personnel have been destroyed….- 8 “Kinzhals” were fired, hit all targets and destroyed the Patriot air defense system, underground warehouse with AtacMS missiles, and an underground command post of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. According to some reports, and the Turks confirm them, 9 generals were killed, one of them was Zaluzhny’s deputy.
- In the Kharkov region, two Iris T air defense systems, 4 Gepard tanks, two command centers and about 65 officers were destroyed. Everything is tight.
- In the Kyiv region, in addition to the Patriot air defense system, 4 command centers and two hotels with mercenaries from Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania and Estonia were destroyed. More than 78 people were killed, about 1000 missiles for Iris T and NASAMS were destroyed in the Goloseevsky district of Kyiv.
- A warehouse with Storm Shadow missiles was destroyed in Krapivnitsky. More than 25 missiles. Plus two SU-24 aircraft and a repair base.
A Ukrainian source gave the following figures for NATO/foreign personnel injured in Kiev and Odessa and evacuated by air to Romania:
27 Poles, three British, 9 Czechs, 12 Lithuanians. In addition, tomorrow a separate aircraft will pick up the bodies of another 21 NATO officers who died.
3rd/4th January
Krivoy Rog, Kirivograd and Nikolaev came under attack overnight.
4th/5th January
Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky, Kiev and Chernivtsi were all attacked with Shahid drones overnight, according to a Ukrainian source.
Ukrainian Drone/Missile Attacks
On January 3rd the Ukrainians hit an electric substation in Kursk - which is not a civilian target so is included in this section.
The Ground War
Faulty Goods
Sputnik is reporting that many of the tanks and armoured fighting vehicles provided by the West were not operational. Mark Sleboda told Sputnik that 35 of the 167 Leopard 2s were not operational and a massive 20 out of 61 Panthers were not operational. Sleboda poured cold water on the notion that F-16s will make any difference since they are antiquated as compared to modern Russian jets such as the SU-35. Krylo Budanov has said that the Abrams tanks they have been given are not suitable for the battlefield.
Russia has been attacking and advancing slowly on all fronts this week.
Russian MoD Reports
w/e 15th December: 4330 Casualties killed and wounded; equipment losses 213 (including 17 boats).
w/e 22nd December: 4690 Casualties killed and wounded; equipment losses 341 (includes 24 boats).
w/e 29th December 4685 Casualties killed and wounded; equipment losses 310 (includes 17 boats).
w/e 5th January 4690 Casualties killed and wounded: equipment losses 365 (including 14 boats)
The Fronts
Bakhmut/Artemovsk
On the 4th January, according to Slavyangrad:
Paratroopers from the 98th Division are burning out enemy positions at the LBS in the direction of Chasovoy Yar. Artillery strikes also disrupt the delivery of ammunition and weapons on the Chasov Yar-Khromovo road. 3 enemy armored vehicles were destroyed near the cemetery.
The Russians are also attempting to take the heights around Bogdanovka.
Siversk - Kupyansk - Svatove
On the 5th January, according to the Two Majors:
In Svatovo Direction, our forces have intensified artillery work on military facilities and AFU deployments near the Kupyansk-Uzlovoy station over the past few days. Our pressure continues in the area of Sinkovka and Kislovka, so far without significant territorial gains. In the Kremennaya forests and near Torskoye there are no major changes.
Avdeevka
According to the Military Chronicle, the Russians are advancing 100 metres every two days around Avdeevka which sounds painfully slow. The Ukrainians continue to take heavy casualties.
Kherson - Krynki
The Ukrainians continue to waste resources and men in order to maintain their tiny and stagnant bridgehead around Krynki on the Russian bank of the Dnieper. This profligate waste has come to the attention of the Western media. The Washington post interviewed several Ukrainian soldiers, one of whom said: “With the counteroffensive stalled, Ukrainian military and political leaders were eager to demonstrate to their Western backers some progress—any progress’. I wouldn’t describe the Krynki bridgehead as progress but I take his point.
Zaporizhzhe - Rabotino - Verbove
The weather here has been cloudy, muddy and damp which complicates drone warfare. The Russians continue to advance slowly in spite of this while Aerospace forces continue to attack rear areas.
The Economic War
Russia and the EU
In spite of sanctions, Russia has overtaken Germany as the fifth largest world economy in terms of purchasing power parity, as Putin predicted early last year. The Eurozone, already in recession due in part to its sanctioning of Russia, will have a bleak 2024 economically as the Financial Times predicts only moderate growth (0.6%) for the region as a whole.
Ukraine Aid
According to the Russian MoD, Ukraine has received $200 billions in aid since the SMO began: that’s a staggering amount that could have benefited the lives of many people in the 54 Western countries that contributed.
Freight Costs Double
Worldwide freight rates for shipping have doubled this week due to the Houthi threat in the Red Sea, forcing ships to take longer routes. And because the journeys are taking around 20 hours longer, there is also a shortage of container ships. All this will inflate prices of many goods.
The emerging Multi Polar World Order (MPWO)
The emerging Multi-Polar World Order is one side of a coin that has the decay of the Western Empire on the other side: they are interdependent. This Update has included a section on the MPWO for most of its life, but recently I have neglected it. So, as of now it is reinstated and hopefully I will not struggle to fill it. Since it is a global phenomenon most things happening in the world right now are connected to it - including lots of nasty things but also some hopeful things. Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates joined BRICS this week to double its membership.
Since January 1st the Suez Canal - the largest trade artery in the world - is under the complete control of BRICS countries. I have run out of time and space to say more but I will devote some time to a discussion of the MPWO soon.
It’s the end of the festive season here in the West and my streak of traditionalism obliges me to endure one last night of decorations and lights - which is welcome. It also obliges me to endure one last night of Scottish Whiskey.
You will have found that information about the air war has probably doubled this week and has been time and space consuming for me.
I hope that 2024 will be much better for the whole world than 2023 was. Many thanks for your views, subscriptions, likes, kind comments and shares (these are hugely important to me).

Thank you for your efforts.
As Hebestreit ist the spokesman of the German Government, he tells not his personal opinion, but that of the Government. Which ist the dumbest and most worse we ever had. Possibly many of them do not have double standards, as they believe our German media, who parrot everything what Ukraine tells them. Confirmation bias does the Rest.
The same ist with the Gaza issue. 99% of the commenters in the German News Channels believe that Israel doing the right thing, some even call for more force.
It's really shocking for me to read their posts. No difference to the Third Reich times. People believe any lie, if it is often enough repeated.
Excellent. Thank you. I learned quite a bit from this and I always like that. :)
