I agree with the Ukrainian protesters. You could have used the forests as woodland burial grounds. Its a difficult culture to understand. I have a Ukrainian friend who is very patriotic. Hates Putin etc. I suggested that if the Ukrainian diaspora and refugees all contributed financially they could come up with the money the US wont send. I was told categorically that the Ukrainians couldn't afford to help. I then suggested that maybe some of the cheerleaders should return home to fight. That was an emphatic no. And yet, the Ukrainian diaspora and refugees are insistent that their country shouldn't surrender and won't be defeated by the Russians. There's a real disconnect with reality. My friend is from western Ukrainian. I was told about the Soviets and what they did during the Holodomor. It didnt make a difference when i pointed out that my friends home town was actually Polish during the Holodomor and wasn't even part of the Soviet Union and had been Polish for hundreds of years prior to being briefly part of the Russian empire and then the Soviet Union for 50 years. I didnt have the heart to say i think it will be part of Poland again very soon.
It is wondrous indeed how the imports into Scotland, who never lifted a finger for the freedom of the Scots, are so keen on introducing the diversity of STFU to Scottish natives.
If ye canna take a wee bit o' criticism, of sunlight of your dark thoughts and policies, of rigorous debate of your Totalitarian impulses then hey on back to the lands of your forefathers and sell your package of deceit to them.
The RF hits to the power infrastructure look like pushing this conflict faster towards its. resolution which is good.
It is a salute to Putin that he held off from doing that in the winter, due to humanitarian reasons, as you mention.
Its also interesting that AZOV/3rd SS brigade or whatever they call themselves seem to be neglecting to follow army orders.
They pulled out from their lynch pin positions at Avdivka to complete that rout and now they are refusing to go to Chasov Yar. Writings on the wall for that battle as well-so it seems.
I pity the regular civilian serfs who are pushed into the lines as fodder while the nationalists can choose where they fight. The fortifying and patrolling of escape routes to Europe by the goons is criminal as well.
Apparently there are more drones active on the Ukraine escape routes than at zero.
Ukraine seems a corrupt horrible place to live and controlled by the worst of the worst.. Definitely an EU candidate.
Once again thanks for the update and lets see what the next week brings.
Another great report Rob. My view has always been that China will have no option but to support Russia if this conflict escalates. The US under the fool Biden made a key strategic mistake in launching something that forced them together. China is the main target.
You're welcome and thanks for accepting my request for giving us non-restrictive links.
And like said, for Sputnik, you don't need to bother searching archives but just use mirror website link - replace the beginning of sputnik link with sputnikglobe - that's all, or just directly use https://sputnikglobe.com for reading/using sputnik content all the time.
RT had also a mirror site (https://swentr.site) until recently but our bastards in the EU (and perhaps the UK and all of NATO) blocked that too couple weeks ago.
I don't know if you know, RT News TV channel with live streaming and featured videos is available from rumble: https://rumble.com/c/RTNews
You're welcome but more thank You for your selfless, generous work! Rest assured, it will all pay off one way or another. No good deed goes unrequited. We all reap what we sow, so keep up the good work! God bless you, Dr. Campbell!
Oftentimes many people archive the same page/article and so the archives have many versions of the same page. The way I explained you, gives you the latest saved/archived version. In my experience this is always a good full version of the RT articles because RT has no restrictions like a paid wall or request to register.
But I noticed for some other sites like Reuters, New York Times, WaPo, etc. because they have a paywall for some content, the latest version is not necessarily the good version as it may just show you the version with message to register to continue using the site. So, in that case you just go to the homepage of one of the archives - https://web.archive.org/ or https://archive.ph - and there you paste your link because then you get a calendar from which you can then simply choose which archived version you want.
Normally, all archived/saved versions should be the same but sometimes authors update their articles. Also, sometimes the version that gets archived is not with full content but just the beginning with a message to register. Anyway, often a page or article is saved many times in one day, so you just click on any day you want and then a list opens with times in a day that the article was saved, so you click on any time. In cases with so-called Western/US legacy media with a paywall or request to register, not all archived versions have full content, so one needs to check more saved versions to see which one has the full article. Normally the archives actually shows you which archived versions of a link/article are the best or the full content by marking it in green color, in web.archive.org, and when a date in calendar is marked in blue that means it might be either full or partial, so you need to check it yourself, and when it is marked with yellow color, then it is not archived with the full content.
Did you know that all articles from all mainstream media are archived, so you never have to pay or subscribe or register for any of it? It is a trick to get all charged news content for free.
There is another trick, which is to click on a cached version - in search engine such as google, when an article page is listed, click on 3 dots next to the title of that website, but this became more rare. Until recently I got all Washington Post articles this way but google doesn't offer cached version of WaPo any longer. However, if you search for it on yandex, you paste just last part of the link into search, enter, in my search, WaPo link is third in a row, click on 3 dots and then on Saved copy and voila! Try here to see what I mean: https://yandex.com/search/?text=ukraine-zelensky-assassination-plot-arrests&lr=10408&search_source=yacom_desktop_common
I hope this opens a whole new world for you with free content. As you might already know, those Western MSM are mostly just propaganda - fake news, distortions, disinformation and such but even so, they could be useful to point to your audiences something they wrote so as to prove their lies or to confirm some data as not all they write is lies.
Thanks for pointing this out. I have had many thousands of views and no one has ever mentioned it. Some time ago I pointed this out but from now on I will do so every week. Only RT and Sputnik are affected: for some reason Tass and Pravda are OK.
Yes, please, do give us archived RT link to save us the trouble as most of us are simply too overwhelmed or busy that we can't be bothered to do it ourselves or even to mention it to you. I mentioned it to you but haven't too many others, which is probably the case why many of your readers have not mentioned it to you, or maybe most of them are not from the EU or just trust your word without checking the links you give. I checked because I use it in my research and our peace initiative here on substack (peaceinitiative.substack).
As for Sputnik, you don't have to search the archived link but just use the mirror site sputnikglobe.com, so whatever sputnik link you have, just replace the first part with sputnikglobe.com.
I use this opportunity to thank you for your great work and for being you (free-thinker, truth-seeker...). I only came across your channel yesterday through conservapedia.com (Main page - In the News section) and I will follow your updates from now one, although I do have some other great sources for updates too.
If you wish, you can use any of the data I collected in our peaceinitiative.substack for your purposes, such us enhancing the insights you give to your readers. We have a solution-approach and try to mobilize people to join our peace initiative to end the horrors in Europe as a grassroot movement since our warmongering war-profiteering leaders are not interested in peace.
Looks like Iran has learnt from the Russians in Ukraine. The main stream media is reporting that Israel et al have intercepted most of the drones fired by Iran. I kinda thing thats the intention to clear the path for the missiles. You flood the defence systems and boom. They aren't reporting it but apparently the hylersonic missiles have been hitting the military installations unhindered. According to Ritter the airbase of the jets that attacked Damascus has been hit several times. The main point the Iranians have made is that Israel cant intercept the hypersonic missiles and is defenceless.
Got up this morning and was surprised there were so few views of the Update overnight. Then I looked on the MoA and the reason became obvious. The shit is hitting the fan in the ME. The physical damage caused by the strikes is less important than the psychological impact on Israelis and Arabs. The former may be losing confidence in the Iron Dome and the latter are partying like its 1999.
Response to Dr. Rob Campbell's "Ukraine Weekly Update", 2024-04-12.
"Articles 106 and 107 of the UN charter permits Russia and the other victors in the Second World War to prevent the rise of Nazism, according to this unconfirmed report."
It's debatable whether that actually applies to Ukraine because it would require Ukraine to be defined as a "state which during the Second World War has been an enemy of any signatory to the present Charter..." That there was Ukrainian faction - the Banderas - which opposed Russia might not be enough to invoke that provision.
See here for a description of "Ukrainian collaboration with Nazi Germany":
The problem is that the USSR ruled what is now Ukraine and further invaded Poland in 1939. After the Nazis invaded the Soviet Union, Ukraine was being run by the Nazis with the assistance of Ukrainian partisans who were in conflict with other partisans who worked against the Nazis.
So it would seem to me difficult to define "Ukraine" as a state under Article 107 and thus justify Russia (which is also no longer the "Soviet Union", the signatory referenced in the Article) invading Ukraine under a statute which was intended primarily for the transitional phase after WWII.
Weak sauce, in other words. Not that it matters since Article 51 works just as well, as Putin cited.
As for Pelosi, she's just doing CYA for the Democrats. She couldn't care less about the Palestinians.
As for the Xi-Putin declaration, I agree with Mercouris that it establishes essentially a military alliance - without calling it that - between China and Russia, but also I agree with Scott Ritter that it sends a signal to the US over IRAN - that Russia and China, both of whom want Iran to remain intact, will not let Iran be destroyed by the US or Israel.
The US needs Iran's infrastructure destroyed and the Iranian government overthrown because the US can not pivot to China while Iran has control of the oil flow in the Persian Gulf. In a war with China, the US would require denying China Gulf oil while controlling its own access. And of course in general the US wants a recalcitrant Iran brought under control in the same manner as the US tries to control the rest of the oil-rich nations.
Some people think the US will stay out of a war between Israel and Iran. This is highly unlikely both for the reasons cited above and because Israel can not win a war with Iran without going nuclear - and that would upend the oil flow as well, which the US does not want. But the US does want Iran's regime destroyed, so the US has to enter the war to do that heavy-lifting.
I've been predicting war with Iran for the last sixteen years, at least. In history, no two countries with that much enmity between them going back decades have not ended up in a war. The only reason it hasn't happened by now is that 1) Israel could not start it without getting rid of Hezbollah first, and 2) Israel didn't have an ironclad guarantee from the US that it would do the heavy lifting. But now we have both the craziest regime in Israel in its history - and the craziest regime in US history.
I don't know how many times people have told me that this war was impossible because "Iran is too powerful", or "the US can't afford it due to the oil price spike", and numerous other excuses.
Well, they're wrong. And once the US enters the war against Iran started by Israel, I will be vindicated at last. And being correct about things is really all I give a shit about.
#Iran #Israel The US has sent B-52’s to Diego Garcia. They haven’t been there since 2020.
I would like to see them try to send B-52's over Iran with Iran's air defenses. Dropping a B-52 or two in the Indian Ocean would be nice headlines for Biden's re-election.
Note that these were sent over two weeks ago, however, six days BEFORE the Iran Consulate strike, meaning planned deployment even earlier, indicating the US KNEW this was coming - because they intended it to happen in concert with Israel.
B-52s deploy to Diego Garcia in Indian Ocean on deterrence mission
Thanks Richard I wasn't aware of the sending/ timing even of that B52 deployment.
Still too many people supportive of the genocide in Gaza.
Both in politics and the general public.
I caught an interesting streams program on Al Jazeera yesterday where the host spoke to an ex UN advisor, an ex US state department employee and an ex-Afghanistan war military information analyst.
Their reasoning of why and when they moved away from the central neo con zionist driving forces in US narratives were well delivered.
Not only that but the support for truth is growing by the resignations.
It just needs to be distributed and acknowledged amongst the public to gain traction.

To answer your question, you just go to the archives, paste your RT link there, click "go" or Enter, and voila! For instance, paste your link here at the top: https://web.archive.org/web/20240506114908/https://www.rt.com/news/597036-zelensky-god-ally-ukraine/ Then you just give that link to your readers instead of non-functional rt.com link.

Hey - I'll be using the archived version of RT and Sputnik in future. Many thanks for this - much appreciated. Rob
RT is banned/censored in the EU so your RT links do not work in the EU, which makes it pointless to use them, therefore better use the archived version such as: https://web.archive.org/web/20240415070315/https://www.rt.com/russia/595692-zelensky-pinocchio-ukrainian-casualties/

Just read William Schryver's latest:
All for One and One for All
https://imetatronink.substack.com/p/all-for-one-and-one-for-all
He agrees that Russia, China and Iran are essentially allies as of the Russian-Chinese meeting.
Thanks for that Richard. Good stuff.
