In terms of world politics, this week has been dominated by the Middle East as the killing in Gaza continues and the world awaits Iran’s inevitable retaliation to the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. This could lead to all out war in the region. The Global stock market crash, which came out of the the blue for many of us, has dominated economically.
For me, here in the UK, the protests and rioting in British cities has caused much concern. More than at any time during recent years, I am getting a sense that things are falling apart.
The Russian offensives are still gaining ground slowly, though more rapidly than they have ever done before. Breakthroughs are possible on many parts of the front and Ukrainian casualty rates are still in the region of 1800-2,000 a day. The Ukrainians have launched their own offensive into the Kursk region which may have caught the Russians by surprise, according to some. The situation there is tense but I would be surprised if the Ukrainians manage to progress much further.
The long awaited F-16s have finally arrived in Odessa and there is much speculation about how they will be deployed and where they will be deployed from. We shall have to wait and see.
Finally, ‘Politics’ in the US continues to entertain and frustrate.
The most entertaining issue of which I am aware concerns Mount Rushmore, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi who wants to have sleepy Joe’s statue erected on the mountain, alongside the American greats to which he belongs. No one is sure whether she is joking or not. Doh!
The most frustrating issue is the US establishment’s failure (if it is a failure) to spare the people of the Middle East from a bloody, disastrous and futile war. The current Middle East situation reminds me of the outbreak of the First World War in the sense that apparently no one wanted it yet it became an inevitability.
It’s good to be back.
The Missing Week Ending 2nd August
I am not going to attempt a summary of the ‘missing week’ because I don’t have the time but I will follow the journeys of some things that started happening last week - such as the assassination of Hamas’s leader. But if you would like a concise ‘catch up’ of the battlefield situation since the Russians attacked north Kharkov in May, b from the Moon of Alabama provides this on August 2nd.
Z Planned To Take Out Putin
According to Alex Christoforou, quoting the NYT, Zelensky had planned to assassinate Vladimir Putin and his Defence Minister at the Navy Day event in St. Petersburg on July 28th. The Russian Secret Service got wind of the planned attack and Defence Minister, Andrey Belousov contacted Lloyd Austin to demand Ukraine back off or face dire consequences - i.e. the destruction of Ukraine and WW3.
New Railway - Rostov to Mariupol
Ukrainian sources are claiming that the new railway recently completed between Rostov on Don and Mariupol will change the situation on the fronts for the Russians due to improved logistics. The sources admit that it will carry many more goods than the Crimean bridge. But they will still try to attack the latter. The Russians have not yet confirmed that the railway is active.
We’re Not Afeared of The F-16
I’m quite bored with this issue personally (not another wunderwaffe!) but I suppose others will be more interested than I - so I have to announce the first ever sighting of an F-16 in Ukraine (Odessa, to be precise). They have arrived folks. According to Slavyangrad, the grand total of 20 such creatures will appear in the skies of Ukraine before the year is out. Some Ukrainians are keen to stress that the F-16s, upon which so many hopes have been pinned (following legacy media hopium), will probably not be able to deliver. Oh Dear! They are to be used, apparently, to shoot down Russian missiles in the west or maybe to protect Odessa. I think the Russians will get better publicity from shooting them down than Westerners will get from their ‘achievements’ at the front - though you never know, I could be wrong.
Ukraine’s Money Running Out
Roksolana Pidlasa, Chair of the Rada budget committee, has said that Ukraine urgently needs money - 500 billion UAH to be precise - otherwise it will not have enough money to pay its soldiers come the end of September.
Ukraine Negotiations Poll
A new poll shows that 57% of Ukrainians want to start negotiations with Russia: only 38% are against.
Z May Ask For Referendum on Losing Territory
The once great Z, when asked about negotiations, said that he wishes to end the war this year. He appeared to concede that territory could be lost but suggested that a decision in this connection must be made by the Ukrainian people through a referendum - according to Pravda. This is one of Z’s rare forays into the real world but it could be a sign that he has been told to negotiate.
The People Fight Back
In Kovel (Volyn oblast) on the 3rd August, the TCC (recruitment agency) forcibly abducted a number of men and would not allow relatives and lawyers to see them. But their friends and relatives ‘rioted’ outside the detention centre and the men were eventually released - according to Ukrainian Telegram Channel legitimniy which provides some footage here. It looks as if hundreds of people were involved. SBU special forces were sent to quell the riots. According to legitimniy, such incidents are becoming frequent. A media propaganda campaign launched by the authorities is condemning the rioters for helping the enemy (how original). Some Ukrainians are lamenting the fact that the country did not honour the Minsk agreements: had they done so they wouldn’t be in this mess.
TCC Car Burning
On August 1st a TCC car was burned out in Dnepropetrovsk, on the 3rd a green car was set alight in Kiev, on August 4th, another car was burned out in Vinnitsa and on August 5th, cars were set alight in Krivoy Rog and Odessa.
Substations Burned in Odessa
According to this report, ‘underground fighters’ burned down two electricity substations causing outages in equipment repair shops and drone construction facilities.
Death Pays
It is not only the arms companies which are benefitting from the many Ukrainian soldiers killed in this conflict. According to this article, the once great Z has taken charge of the funeral business and is profiting from it alongside key donors to the US Democrat Party, some of whom are close to cackling Kamala. US businessmen have control over cemeteries and crematoria along with headstone/coffin makers. There is much money to be made from death!
Ukrainian Servicewomen Help Declining Birth Rate
The birth rate in Ukraine has declined by about a third in 2024. This has not been helped by the non-availability of men for women to date - many of whom have fled the country, are fighting on the battlefields or reside in the graveyards that are mushrooming around the country. But female military operatives, including medics, are helping the situation and, at the same time, saving their own lives. It is claimed that many are engaging in fornication with numerous male colleagues, becoming pregnant and leaving the battlefields. In view of this, Chaplain, Mark Sergeev is concerned about promiscuity among servicewomen, especially medics. He believes that more female Chaplains are needed at the front to remind the women of their moral duty. But such immorality may also benefit the country. According to some moral codes, it cannot be immoral therefore.
Factory or the Front
Ukrainian businessmen are calling for exemptions from front line duty for factory workers in order to keep businesses functioning and preventing the total collapse of Ukraine’s economy. Some estimate that around 800,000 Ukrainians have ‘gone underground’ to avoid military service and are accepting work only on a cash in hand basis while changing their addresses frequently - according to an article by Ukrainian MP and economist Dmytro Natalukha. ‘The army will be left naked and helpless if the economy fails’, Dmytro warned. Some believe that the economy could collapse before the army. You can read more at the Financial Times.
Ukraine Terrorist Attacks (those that target civilians)
2nd/3rd August Overnight
Belgorod region suffered shelling overnight which injured two civilians. Kursk was also attacked. Air defences destroyed 19 drones but no casualties were reported. In the DPR, one civilian was killed and another nine injured by shelling and missile attacks. According to the Military Chronicle, a total of 75 drones were destroyed over Russian regions overnight.
3rd/4th August
A residential building in Shebekino was attacked by drones overnight killing one civilian. Luhansk was also attacked by cruise missiles overnight: six explosions were heard but I have no information about damage or casualties. A later report suggested that 12 Western made missiles (ATACAMS and/or Stormshadows) were involved.
4th/5th August Overnight
In Belgorod region overnight, one civilian was killed and another five wounded by shelling. In Kursk, many villages were attacked but I have seen no reports of casualties or damage. A total of 42 drones were disabled over the border regions on August 4th. In the DPR, 3 civilians were injured by drone drops/shelling.
5th/6th August Overnight
According to the Two Majors, many villages in Belgorod suffered drone attacks overnight. In the village of Vyazovoye, a bus containing agricultural workers was attacked by a drone drop which killed one civilian. Elsewhere in Belgorod, two cars and a lorry suffered drone attacks but only one person was injured. In Kursk, one person was injured in a drone attack on a house while the city of Sudzha was shelled causing damage to houses and injuring 5 people, including 3 children. 40 drones were destroyed/disabled in the border areas overnight. In Donetsk, a woman was injured by a drone drop in Gorlovka. Elsewhere, one woman was killed and two men injured by shelling while another woman was injured by a drone drop on her car.
See below for attacks in Kursk.
6th/7th August
A residential building in Voronezh was attacked overnight causing damage but no casualties were reported. Several villages in Belgorod were attacked causing damage to houses and cars. Only one civilian was injured. Also in Belgorod, a bus (see photo) carrying agricultural workers was attacked by a drone which killed one and injured another three. This latter could be a duplicate of the report from 5th/6th August.
7th/8th August
Belgorod suffered a massive attack from MLRS overnight. Most were shot down but some managed to get through and caused some damage. There were no reports of casualties.
8th/9th August
Belgorod suffered heavy shelling overnight causing damage to houses and cars but only one civilian was injured. But six people were injured by drone attacks on Lipetsk. According to this report:
The enemy…launched a massive attack - 75 aircraft-type UAVs were shot down at night, namely: 26 over Belgorod, 19 over Lipetsk, 7 over Kursk, 5 over Bryansk, 4 over Voronezh, 1 over Oryol.
The Sea War
5th/6th August Overnight
According to Geroman:
Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) attempted to break through from Odessa to the Tendrovskaya Spit in the Kherson region, but they were met by Russian special forces. During the night, the Ukrainian SOF, using up to 10 high-speed boats equipped with AGS-17 and heavy machine guns, and under the cover of unmanned aerial vehicles, attempted a breakthrough in an area where they had previously suffered heavy losses.
Several boats were destroyed along with two dozen soldiers.
8th/9th August
5 drones were destroyed over Crimea and 8 over the Black Sea, where 7 Ukrainian Armed Forces unmanned aerial vehicles and a Neptune missile were destroyed. 7 unmanned boats were also destroyed.
The Air War (Ukraine Map)
Russian Missile/Drone Attacks
2nd/3rd August Overnight
According to the Two Majors:
During the night, the RFAF carried out group strikes by attack drones against the foe's rear facilities in Kiev, Vinnitsa, Odessa, Kharkov, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Zhitomir and Poltava regions. The foe has been claiming for several days that the RFAF, in addition to the Geraniums, is using more budget Gerbera UAVs, which allows ours to increase the pace of air strikes.
3rd/4th August Overnight
Chuguev airfield in Kharkov suffered missile attack overnight along with railway and energy infrastructure in Poltava.
4th/5th August Overnight
According to the Two Majors:
During the night, the RFAF used several groups of attack UAVs to hit enemy facilities in the Kiev (Bila Tserkva), Vinnitsa, Kharkov, Sumy, Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkassy and Poltava regions. Combat work continued until the morning.
5th/6th August Overnight
According to the Two Majors:
Around midnight, the RFAF launched a missile strike with 6 Iskanders in Kiev region, followed by our Geranis (Vyshgorodsky district). Explosions were also reported from Poltava, Sumy (Konotop), Zhitomir, Kharkov, Odessa, Nikolayev (Ochakov), Kherson regions.
At least six incoming missiles were recorded in Kiev (possibly Iskander M) followed by attacks by Geranium 2 kamikazes.
This was a light week for the Russians but I may have missed some reports.
Ukrainian Missile/Drone Attacks
2nd/3rd August
Overnight, Ukraine launched large drone attacks in a number of regions, according to the Majors:
The foe organised a large scale attack (55 UAVs) on the Rostov region. The strikes also came to the Orlov, Kursk (at least 6 UAVs) and Belgorod regions. The foe's targets were military airfields and oil depots, UAVs hit residential buildings, without casualties, the governors reported.
The oil depot at Gubkinsky in Belgorod was set alight by drones.
Another report produced different figures:
At night, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 36 aircraft-type UAVs over Rostov, eight over Kursk, nine over Belgorod, 17 over Oryol, two over Ryazan regions, one UAV each over the Voronezh region, the Sea of Azov and the Krasnodar Territory.

The Fronts
I must apologise that I have not been able to obtain adequate sitreps for all sectors of the front: most commentators are focusing on Kursk.
Kursk - Ukrainian Offensive/Terrorist Attack
6th August
On this day, Kursk suffered an incursion of around 300 Western backed troops supported by 11 tanks and 22 armoured vehicles - according to Intel Republic. This venture didn’t get very far (less than a mile according to some). Scores of enemy infantry along with 16 armoured vehicles and six tanks were destroyed.
6th/7th August Overnight
The Ukrainians brought in several battalions overnight and were able to occupy three or four border villages. Much of the fighting is taking place around Sudzha, from which civilians are being evacuated - according to the Military Chronicle. Later, it was reported that 11 settlements were occupied and that the Ukrainians had advanced to a depth of 15km but it is by no means certain that this is true. It appears that 800 or more Ukrainian troops are involved but this could be the first stage of a larger incursion involving thousands (it could also be a diversionary attack to hide a more determined Ukrainian offensive elsewhere?). I am not a military expert, but it appears obvious to me that these troops would be better employed further east where sections of the front are on the verge of collapse.
Why This Offensive?
I have no idea what the Ukrainians hope to achieve by these incursions though some say they are meant to distract the attention of the Russians from their main objective in the Donbass. If so, I doubt whether the Russians will be so easily distracted, especially since they have thousands of unemployed troops not far away. Another source suggests that the Ukrainians are targeting a gas pipeline/metering station close to the border, at Sudzha.
Rybar quotes a Washington Post article suggesting that the forces operating in Kursk (many of whom are Polish and French) are acting on orders from the US rather than Kiev and are attempting to prevent Europe from receiving Russian gas - so the metering point could be blow up soon. It seems that the Russians have been negligent in failing to protect such a vital facility.
More alarmingly, this Ukrainian source suggests that it is planned to capture the Kursk nuclear power plant and use it as a bargaining chip, threatening nuclear catastrophe - but this plant is 90 km from the border. Alexander Mercouris believes that this was indeed the Ukrianian objective as he discusses here. Rybar is reporting that interrogated Ukrainian prisoners are saying that the purpose of the sortie was to make Ti-Tok videos: doubtless that’s what they’ve been told. Dmitry Medvedev believes that the attacks are a means of demonstrating to the West that there is still life in the Ukrainian army which simply needs more money and weapons - according to Tass. Ukrainian spokesman, Mykhailo Podolyak has said that the capture of Russian villages will provide the Ukrainians with leverage during negotiations. I don’t think he knows the Russians very well.
The ground attack has been accompanied by massive shelling of civilians and drone attacks. These have killed five people and injured 24, including six children. Maria Zakharova has described the incursion as a terrorist attack - which it obviously is. Civilians should not be shot at, shelled or forced to be in a war zone without warning.
This offensive appears to have surprised the Russians, according to some and citizens inside the Kursk border will be furious that they have not been protected by their government (they’ll be more furious with the Ukrainians). b from the MoA provides a brief report dated August 7th and Project Great provides a succinct sitrep here (4 mins).
In the village of Sudzha, Ukrainian terrorist killed a pregnant 24 year old woman in front of her husband and son who managed to escape.
7th/8th August
On the 8th August, one group of Ukrainians was stopped at Korenovo another group has been more successful at Sudzha. But the Ukrainians will need to feed new forces into the attack in order to sustain it. In order to prevent this, the Russians are attacking the Ukrainian rear at Sumy.
Ukraine’s forces are protected by air defence this time and emphasis is being placed on gaining territory while bypassing areas of resistance. But they are taking heavy losses in men and equipment. According to the Russian MoD, only 1,000 Ukrainians have been involved in this attack.
Whatever Ukraine’s intention, this is a risky venture which appears to be using up their last reserves which will make a collapse in the Donbass more likely.
It seems that the US and the West has no problem with the Ukrainians using their weapons on Russian soil.
According to the Two Majors the Ukrainians are taking civilians prisoner and are are firing at civilian homes. Aussie Cossack has footage of Ukrainian soldiers shooting randomly at civilian cars in Sudzha. The Majors also report that civilians with experience of military service have formed squads and are defending their homes.
It is also said that Ukrainians are disguising themselves in Russian uniforms to deceive guards at border checkpoints.
I should say that I have no idea whether or not these claims are true but they have been made.
According to the Two Majors, the Ukrainian forces are digging in for a long fight. This area was obviously not well defended or fortified so the Russians will need to move fast to reinforce the area. According to Geroman, veterans from Wagner and Akhmat are moving in.
The fog of war is heavy at the moment and some claims about the extent of the Ukrainian advances are dubious and are therefore not included here.
The inimitable Simplicius provides some lengthy and detailed analysis here. In a short article on Telegram, Slavyangrad reassures us that if Ukraine wants to increase its forces in the areas around Sudzha and Korenovo beyond the 1,000 already there, this would require the movement of masses of supplies that would have to run the gauntlet of Russian aviation, artillery etc. Even if the Ukrainians have brigades ready to enter the fray it will not be easy for the Ukrainians to deploy them or resupply them.
8th/9th August
By the end of August 8th, the Russian MoD reported that the Ukrainians have lost 660 men and 102 armoured vehicles in this operation. Many civilians have been killed and 3,000 have been evacuated from the border areas. On the morning of the 9th August, the Two Majors reported that ‘the enemy’s advance has been completely paralysed’. However, Yury Podolyaka believes that another Ukrainian offensive could be launched in a different direction with larger forces.
On the 9th August, the Russian MoD claimed to have inflicted 945 casualties between August 6th-9th. This appears to suggest that the Ukrainians have deployed more than 1,000 troops.
I wonder who will be first to compare this to the Battle of the Bulge?
Kharkov
According to Sitrep:
On the Kharkov Front, fighting continues in Volchansk and near Glubokoye. The AFU is trying to counterattack in small groups, but still unsuccessfully.
Seversk
By the end of the week, the Russians had advanced north of Belogorivka and were fighting on the outskirts of Vyemka and Pereezdnoye.
Uhledar
According to this article, the Ukrainians will find it difficult to attack in the direction of the Black Sea if (or when) they lose Uhledar which was surrounded this week.
Krasnogorivka
By the end of the week, the Russians were still fighting around Krasnogorovka and Karlovka.
Ocheretyne
This week, the Russians have made new advances north of Lozuvatske, according to Geroman.
Pokrovsk
This week, the Russians have continued to progress in Ivanovka and have advanced towards Grodovka. Sergeyevka was also brought under Russian control and the village of Zhellanoe is being cleared. According to Dima (Military Summary Channel), the Pokrovsk front is close to collapse.
Toretsk
Nyu York
After many weeks of fighting, the town of Nyu York has fallen under Russian control.
Kherson
9th August
Since 4 am on the morning of the 9th August, the Ukrainians have been attempting to land troops at Kinburn Spit. An failed attempt was made to attack south of this point at Tendrovskaya Spit on August 6th.
The Economic War
Global Stock Market Collapse
The recent collapse of the Japanese Stock Market - the worse collapse in its history, has spread to Europe amid fears that the US economy is slowing down as a prelude to recession. You can read more at Tass or Zero Hedge. Also, b from the Moon of Alabama has a short article dated August 5th. They are already calling this day: Black Monday. By the 6th August, the Japanese Stock exchange had recovered half its losses. You can read more at Tass.
The banking firm, JP Morgan, has estimated the likelihood of a US recession at 50% as the US Stock Market also collapses. The total US market capitalisation loss since July 15th is approximately $5 trillions. Opportunistically, Trump has blamed Biden and Harris.
Ukraine’s Credit Rating Reduced
Ukraine’s credit rating has been reduced to a humiliating ‘selective default’. According to the Two Majors, its debt is now ‘close to junk’.
EU Coordinated Blocking of Oil to Hungary/Slovakia
The EU has coordinated Ukraine's stoppage of Russian oil transit to Hungary and Slovakia - according to Hungarian Foreign Minister Szijjártó (pictured). Speaking at Matthias Corvinus college, he said that Brussels:
…could not come to terms with the fact that Hungary, despite all the pressure, does not give up and continues its policy aimed at establishing peace.
Both Hungary and Slovakia have said that they could cut electricity supplies to Ukraine in retaliation. You can read more at Zero Hedge.
World Politics
Hungary Defiant
In an interview, Viktor Orban accused the US of participation in the destruction of the Nord Stream pipeline. Criticising the Europeans he said:
We are silent about the explosion of the Nord Stream pipeline; Germany itself is silent about a terrorist attack committed against its property at the obvious behest of the Americans. We do not investigate, try to find out, or legally raise the issue—just as we did not do the right thing about the wiretapping of Angela Merkel's phone calls, which was carried out with the help of Denmark.
Orban’s observations appear so, so obvious to many of us as an expression of reason and common sense and rationalists will ask why most of Europe’s leaders can’t see this.
Hungary has decided to give visas to people from the Russian Federation and Belarus. But some MEPs believe this could jeopardise the role of the Schengen zone as a ‘safe space’ allowing spies from Belarus and Russia to enter.. Therefore, they want Hungary excluded from the Schengen ‘free movement’ scheme. To me, this sounds like a slap on the wrist for being naughty.
The Olympic Games
The Olympic Games started last week in France but has been marred by protests and controversy. Some terrorist groups have promised retribution towards Israeli athletes for what their soldiers (some of whom are competing) are doing in Gaza - another Munich if you like. But I doubt this will happen.
Shortly after or even before the opening - saboteurs set fire to France’s rail networks causing massive delays for commuters while the Olympic accommodation and organisation has left a lot to be desired, according to competitors who also complained that the streets of Paris are ‘infested’ with homeless people. The fact that Israeli athletes have been allowed to compete while those from Russia and Belarus were banned highlights the rank hypocrisy (and possibly racism) of the West.
Some competitors have fallen ill after swimming in the Seine as part of various competitions. One country even refused to compete in the river. Some experts warned months ago that the river was highly contaminated. So it’s not going swimmingly.
Ticket prices have been reduced considerably due to the low attendances.
On the positive side, it is good that tennis player and ‘dissenter’ Novak Djokovic won Olympic Gold to complete a ‘grand slam’ or tournaments.
Shoigu Visits Iran
Russia appears to be keeping its promise to provide weapons to the West’s opponents as Iran is due to take delivery of Russian S-400 air defence systems.
Protests
UK
So called ‘Anti-migration protests’ have broken out in many UK cities this week which some say are a response to a recent series of machete attacks and incidents of gang violence involving Muslims in British cities. Some believe the riots were sparked by a 17 year old Rwandan youth who stabbed three children in Southport (close to Liverpool). Many cities, including London, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham have seen violent demonstrations, the burning of mosques, the ransacking of police premises and cars set ablaze. You can read more at Sputnik. Riots also broke out in Sunderland and in Rotherham protesters stormed the Holiday Inn being used to house migrants as you can see here or on X.
Elon Musk has suggested that the UK is close to civil war!
It should be noted, however, that in most cases only a minority of protesters were violent, as Neil McCoyWard discusses here. The scale of the violence and damage was not as great as some past episodes - though the legacy media will not give you that impression. They will want to scare the population into giving up freedoms but I’m not sure it will work this time.
The government’s failure to deal with immigration/migration problems is at least partly responsible for all this. This has nothing to do with race imv, just as Brexit had nothing to do with racism (apparently, the protesters were of mixed races and mixed religions).
UK governments over many years have allowed a massive influx of immigrants, migrants and refugees while some believe that law enforcement agencies have not dealt with the violence perpetrated by some Muslims. Wasting money on Ukraine and ‘net-zero’ to the detriment of UK’s own citizens has not helped. Recently, Keir Starmer has denied elderly people their £300 winter fuel allowance while the NHS falls apart and the underfunded police force has lost its capacity to protect citizens. Other cuts will follow and the likelihood of civil unrest will increase - but I don’t think it will lead to civil war as such.
However, some view these ‘riots’ as a religious war between Christians and Muslims. Of course, ‘the left’, including globalists like Starmer, will fear monger about the rise of the ‘far right’ - as they always do when they would be better advised to attempt to understand why people are protesting. From the various videos I have watched, those protesting are ordinary folk - not from the far right - which I take to mean something equivalent to fascists. Of course, some of the violent protesters may have had Nazi sympathies and other people attending may be racists - but organisers of any demo would find it difficult to exclude such people altogether. As Patrick O’Flynn tweeted, ‘just to be angry about uncontrolled immigration, Islamic extremism, minorities refusing to integrate’ is not being ‘far right’.
But the legacy media, singing in harmony, described the protesters as ‘far right’ and ‘violent extremists’. So, the scary ‘far right’ label that was created decades ago must now be understood to include violent extremism. Thus Keir Starmer, instead of providing the police with more resources to eliminate the Muslim gangs, or attempting to reassure people that they will bring immigration under control, has announced that the police will clamp down on the far right. But what he is really doing is imposing control on people while stifling protests that the establishment doesn’t want. Yet if there were another George Floyd type moment, it would be no surprise if the protests were allowed.
Some people, such as this young lady, are complaining about ‘two tier policing’ whereby Muslim gangs armed with machetes and other weapons are being ignored by the police as groups of white British protesters are fleeing for their lives. The Muslims appear to have been defending a mosque - and they obviously feel threatened. In a similar vein, Paul Joseph Watson provides some brief analysis of the situation here (14 mins). He examines the difference between Starmer’s and the police’s response to the BLM riots and these. In one section he juxtaposes Starmer’s response to the BLM alongside his response to the current riots using a split screen. He also highlights the absurdity of calling the protesters ‘right wing extremists’. For a better understanding of what is happening watch watch Watson’s video along with this episode of the Duran (23 mins).
Those who have been following my articles on Language and Bewitchment will know that I view categories such as ‘far left’ and ‘extreme right’ as unnatural constructs that the ruling elites use to divide us. These operate in a similar to the way ‘anti-vaxxers’, ‘deniers’ and ‘conspiracy theorists’ were employed during anti-lockdown protests - i.e. by tarring all protesters with the same brush thereby exaggerating the threat they pose.
In response to this, Starmer will also consider limitations on the movement of people, the extension of facial recognition and more censorship/control of social media. For the establishment, such things are needed, not only to deal with unwanted protests, but also to defend the establishment as it collapses as part of the Western Empire. In the long run, of course, with Tony Bliar shouting in his ear, Starmer will also try to introduce identity cards.
The new policies/laws will make it easier for the establishment to control protests generally. Anyone protesting about the government’s immigration policies could be the first to fall foul of this nonsense.
But at another level, this is all about State Control of the population. As many have said, Covid was a rehearsal and they will have learned from it. But so have we. I have just heard that Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland are uniting against migrants. That’s a positive development - and it shows that the people can unite when faced with a common enemy.
The violence, arson and looting are atrocious of course but we will not gain insight into people’s motives by simply dismissing them as ‘right wing’. People appear to be taking the law into their own hands because the police are not protecting them; they are rioting because society is shutting them off. They are rioting because they can’t get housing or jobs and have to wait years for treatment from the NHS, while Muslims and others have obtained the lion’s share of social housing and are sometimes not being held accountable for the crimes they commit. Such things provide explanations rather than false accusations of political extremism - which actually amount to nothing more than ‘name calling’. Our leaders are unable or unwilling to address these problems so have no choice but to blame individuals and deprive them of hard won freedoms.
I actually listened to ‘headmaster’ Keir Starmer (‘Two Tier Keir’) putting his foot down in this brief interview which I found painful to watch. This man is a mindless, spineless numbskull - and that’s me being polite. My wife took the same view: he’s like a cardboard cutout incapable of expressing any genuine humanity. He was unpopular before but after this showing many more people will want him gone.
The Indian High Commission has advised its citizens to ‘exercise extreme caution while traveling in the UK’ - ‘a sign of the times’.
Anti-Nazi Protests Prague
Hundreds of people demonstrated outside an event being organised by the 3rd Ukrainian Assault Brigade which contains former AZOV members and other Nazis. Protesters waved Russian and Soviet flags and some wore T shirts with Putin’s image. Events planned by the Nazis at other European venues have been cancelled.
Berlin
Thousands demonstrated in Berlin over the weekend, with the slogan ‘Peace, freedom, truth’. Many carried pro-Russian placards and called out the government for deceiving the people.
Kamala - How to Speak Without Saying Anything
This is an extraordinary testament to the importance of having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and understands the power that comes from understanding the value of diplomacy and the strength of our allied alliances. This is an incredible day!
To be fair she is actually saying something trivial and obvious: i.e. the donkey’s full of shit!
Until this, Kamala had said nothing to the press unless it was written on a piece of paper. Here, she had to cope without a teleprompter and say what was on her own mind - which was simply garbage.
Senator LaFonz, a former colleague of Kamala has showered her with praise - or is it ‘faint praise’ when she said:
Kamala Harris is a human being who learns something every day. So her constant shifting positions on a host of policy issues shouldn't bother American voters, longtime.
I don’t believe that being a person who learns something every day is anything special. But for Senator LaFonz to use this quality as an excuse for being inconsistent is ludicrous.
The emerging Multi-Polar World Order
Russia Arms Iran
True to its promise, Russia is supplying its ally with S-400 defence systems according to Zero Hedge (members only).
That’s it for yet another eventful week. Many thanks for your views, subscriptions, likes, shares and comments. Best wishes - Rob
Israel has created a situation where Iran has to attack. The Iranians tried the limited response back in April and the warning wasn't heeded. The Iranians are making the same mistakes the Russians make with Ukraine. The principal mistake both Russia and Iran make is that they both think their opponents and the opponent's puppet master are rational. They aren't.
Great to see you back and thanks for the great update Rob.
The Ukrainian attack across the border from the Sumy region is an odd one.
Obviously major RF forces wont be present all along the border so as to avoid getting picked off on day one. So the mission was always going to succeed, (up to a point) when RF reserves arrive and in big concentrations)
I had been thinking for a few weeks that UA daily tank losses were falling and they were being kept back for something such as this.
Plus the UA units at the front were not being adequately reinforced and were/are ceding a lot of territory .
The attack, as most outlets are reporting. drives another wedge between between RF energy transfer to Europe via the Sudzha terminal.
So the war mongering West will benefit from that. Their tactics and ISR fingerprints are all over this.
The Kursk Nuclear power station is not far from the area so the mini invasion does add a certain sort of urgency or severity even,
This all aids the attempts by the Banderite regime to instil fear in the Russian population and also generates propaganda at home and abroad.
I caught a quick BBC news 'disinformation' broadcast on Friday that celebrated the UA efforts of throwing 3 brigades to their deaths whilst running around targeting innocent civilians in an undefended border area.
Will the UA manage to consolidate their captured positions and fortify the buildings to create another drawn out pointless. meatgrinder?
Is this a bargaining chip for negotiations. Or is it perhaps a distraction away from another offensive to be launched soon?
Thanks again for the update and lets see what next week brings.
