Donald J Trump was found guilty of falsifying business records to cover up payments to a porn star for services allegedly rendered. Some say he could face 4 years in prison while others believe he will be given a large fine (which could cripple him financially). But we won’t know until July 11th when the sentence will be announced. But Trump, according to one poll, has 56% support to Biden’s 37%. Tulsi Gabbard (ex Democrat and current Trump supporter) was quick to come out in support of Trump and against the misuse of the justice system to silence a political opponent - which is probably what’s going on here. I should also say that Trump has publicly denied the charges, including the claim that he was unfaithful to his wife. I am not going to comment on this because I have absolutely no idea what is going on here.
In an escalatory move, EU leaders, following an initiative from Macron, are considering sending ‘instructors’ to Ukraine. To escalate things further, many European countries along with the US, are arguing that Western weapons should be used to attack military targets in Russia. In practice they will also be used to attack civilians - as we know. But this raises issues around Russia’s legal right to reply (militarily) under the terms of the North Atlantic Treaty (1949) - see below.
I think this issue may be important to the Russians because their civilians will be targeted much more than they are currently - and those outside the border areas will start to become affected by the conflict. Even though Putin has strong support at the moment he will be concerned that nothing should erode that. But he has a duty to protect those on the borders - so the cordon sanitaire he says he is creating is important.
On the battlefronts, relatively little has changed but it is clear that many more Ukrainians are being killed and wounded than was the case around a month ago. There are many other difficulties for Ukrainians which I will discuss below.
There are tensions between different factions within the Ukrainian establishment as the once great Z weeds out those within the political and military spheres who, he believes, do not serve his interests.
In the Middle East, the nauseating culling of Palestinians and their infrastructure continues. I try not to think about it too much and I attempt to quickly skip over the horrible images on TV channels and Telegram.
But HAMAS is fighting back with the help of Hezbollah while the success of the Houthis in the Red Sea has attracted retaliatory attacks from British and US planes which created many ‘martyrs’.
Nothing spectacular has happened but it has been an eventful week.
Russian Issues
Escalation Games
Jens Stoltenberg has urged Western nations to lift restrictions on the use of their weapons to attack Russian territory - and we all know that such weapons (e.g. British Stormshadow missiles) are already being employed to kill civilians in Russia.
Lavrov reminded him that:
I doubt that the Secretary General can take on such responsibility, to speak on behalf of the members of the bloc, when that topic was discussed within NATO -. Not at the level of the Secretariat and the Secretary General, but within the bloc that includes the member countries, and he implements their will. I believe he overstepped his authority.
Deputy Italian PM, Matteo Salvini called Stolty ‘a dangerous gentleman’ for his bellicose rhetoric which could lead to World War Three. On the other hand, Macron has given the go ahead for Western munitions to attack military targets in Russia.
There is no unity among NATO members, as this demonstrates.
German political scientist, Eike Hamer, has said that Russia would be fully justified in regarding attacks on its territory by Western weapons as attacks by the countries that provided these weapons. But very often these weapons are launched and guided with NATO assistance which gives Russia even more justification to attack the source countries.
In addition to the US, many European countries have now authorised attacks on Russian territory using their weapons. They are: the UK, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, Sweden and Estonia - according to Pravda. Later, Olaf Scholtz did a massive U turn in agreeing to Western weapons striking at Russian territory.
To make escalatory matters worse, France’s Emmanuel Bonaparte is attempting to create a ‘coalition’ of countries willing to send military instructors to Ukraine. These could be involved in the training of sappers, according to Le Monde. An announcement is due to be made during Z’s visit to France on June 6th/7th.
The inimitable Medvedev made some interesting though alarming points about these ‘escalation games’. First, he made it clear that the ‘instructors’ would be targeted and annihilated whatever their nationality. Second, Russia will annihilate the sources of any attacks, whatever country they come from. Third, he made it clear that Russia knows that NATO personnel are involved in operating equipment that results in ordnance exploding on Russian territory and characterises such assistance as participation in the conflict. This, he said, would provide Russia with a casus belli under articles 4 and 5 of the ‘Washington Treaty’ (i.e. the North Atlantic Treaty that gave birth to NATO). In other words, he is suggesting that if NATO countries send ‘instructors’ to Ukraine, they will have entered the conflict as combatants - and can expect their countries to be attacked by Russia. If this happens, he warned:
The former Ukraine and its NATO allies will receive a response of such destructive force that the Alliance itself simply will not be able to resist being drawn into the conflict.
He also warned that Russia, under circumstances in which it is threatened, would deploy tactical nuclear weapons.
This is becoming a little like a game of ‘chicken’.
But Medvedev is simply expressing possible outcomes of the West’s refusal to accept that Ukraine has lost. The brave Ukrainians have done their best but even with NATO and the West behind them, they were never going to win. So the Russians are probably thinking: you must stop this nonsense which is doing nothing other than getting more and more Ukrainians and Russians killed (including civilians) for the sake of Sleepy Joe’s election campaign. They are also saying: you are not strong enough to beat us: accept this or we will provide an alarming and unforgettable demonstration to illustrate the point.
The Ukraine war, at this stage, is similar to a boxing contest in which the weaker opponent is being lifted off the canvas after being pulverised - time and time again. He may be given a shot of adrenalin or amphetamines to keep him going but this is ‘false energy’ that can last only so long. It is sickening, just as the Gaza conflict is sickening. But I have no idea where it will go from here because the factors influencing the Western leaders are numerous, varied and mostly irrational.
Russian Outproduces West In Shell Production
Russia is now producing around 4.5 millions shells a year which is three times more that the US and EU combined (at 1.3 millions). Furthermore, Western shells, at $4,000 each, are four times more expensive than Russian shells - according to Sputnik. A Ukrainian source is reporting general ammunition shortages across all fronts.
‘Noah’s Ark’ - Donetsk
Children growing up in Donetsk over the past ten years have lived in constant fear of shelling and bombs. In the Donbass, a sanctuary has been created for thousands of animals which is being used to help the children rediscover the lost joys of childhood. You can read more here.
Ukrainian Issues
Ukrainian Commanders Face Criminal Charges
Twenty Eight Ukrainian commanders who are being held responsible for the Russian breakthrough in North Kharkov face criminal charges according to a Ukrainian source.
Mobilization Woes
According to a Ukrainian scientist, Ukraine will need to use women and children to replace men in industry or it will face shortages of basic necessities such as women’s ‘pads’ - according to Sitrep.
Ukraine Dying
According to one Ukrainian source:
Our source reports that in Ukraine the risk of epidemics is growing due to poverty, interruptions in electricity, water supply, sanitation, increased unsanitary conditions, a decline in the quality of housing and communal services, a decline in the quality of medical services (severe personnel shortages), etc. Mortality in the country is at a high level, but this is not the limit. Ukraine under Zelensky is “dying out.”
Ukraine To Legalise Hostage Taking?
The Minister of Sports in Ukraine has suggested that in order to prevent Ukrainian sportsmen competing overseas from ‘absconding’ - it should be permissible to take their relatives hostage. I’ll say that again: Mr. Bedny is confirming that Ukraine is a terrorist state, employing Nazi-type methods of control over its people who are governed by an illegitimate, incompetent, drug addled hand puppet. This is the ‘democracy’ that the West has become entangled with - to its eternal shame.
Ukraine Poor on Human Rights
The European Court on Human Rights (ECHR) has received more human rights complaints from Ukrainian citizens than it has from almost any other European country - according to a report in RT. There are currently 8,000 lawsuits pending against Ukraine.
Unit No 110
This was formally a medical unit charged with dealing with epidemics:
However, in reality it is a special unit of 150-200 medics who have very special skills and receive very specific tasks.
It is believed they were involved in medical experiments and could have committed medical war crimes.
Z Off the Rails
This may sound absurd, but the once so great Z, in a television interview, is suggesting that Russia had engaged in agreements with ‘Western countries’ that allowed it to attack Ukraine - so that Putin could destroy the country. Referring to Putin, he told the NYT:
He is inadequate or he knew that nothing would happen to him for this. This means that there were some dialogues with other countries. I don’t even want to think about this, because then it’s not a partnership, it’s playing behind one’s back and complete betrayal. Therefore, let's still think that he had no agreements, and he is simply inadequate, who decided that no one would defend Ukraine, and he could capture us and destroy us.
With regard to the Zaporizhzhye Nuclear power plant, he said:
The Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is mined and may explode, and the plant personnel are being held hostage.
He also claimed that ‘Ukraine has shown the world its the most democratic country’, according to Aussie Cossack.
Ukraine General Staff to Decrease By 60%
These measures are designed to reduce duplication: those surplus to requirements will be sent into the meat grinder.
Z Legitimacy?
Putin is a lawyer, so the idea of legitimacy is important to him and it is second nature for him to view matters through a legalistic framework. In connection with Z’s legitimacy he had this to say:
I assume that peace talks should be resumed - and not with ultimatums, but with common sense, and they should be based on common sense, but if it comes to that, of course, we need to understand who we need and can deal with to get to the signing of legally binding documents. And then we need to be fully confident that we are dealing with legitimate authorities. This question must be answered in Ukraine itself.
Dmitry Tabachnik (above), co author of Ukraine’s constitution, now living in Russia, said that the document makes it clear that Zelensky lost legitimacy on May 20th when his term of office expired. You can read more here.
Dam Opened in Kherson
The Ukrainians have opened the locks at the DneprHPP plant. The waters are expected to flood the islands in the Dnepr Delta but will not affect the Zaporizhye Nuclear Power Plant.
Ukrainian Terrorist Attacks (i.e. those that target civilians)
24th/25th May Overnight
According to the Two Majors, Belgorod and Kursk came under attack overnight with MLRS, drones, explosives dropped from drones and missiles - but damage was minimal and no casualties were reported. However, four civilians were injured in the DPR by 155mm cluster shells.
25th/26th May
According to the Military Chronicle:
At night, Belgorod was attacked by R-360 Neptune anti-ship missiles. Previously, the enemy used them only in the Crimea, but the 31st Air Defense Division adapted to them, and their effectiveness was low.
However, MLRS attacks hit houses and cars, killing four and injuring twelve.
26th/27th May
Ten drones were destroyed over Kursk and three over Oryol overnight while two more were destroyed over Belgorod and two over Bryansk. A total of five civilians were injured in Belgorod while at least 20 houses and many cars were damaged while two civilians received injuries in Kursk. Four civilians were also injured in Gorlovka, DPR.
27th/28th May
The governor of Kursk region reported many attacks on villages in the region overnight. There was damage to power lines, residential buildings and cars but no casualties were reported. Many drones were neutralised by electronic means. The LPR suffered a rocket attack with cluster munitions. A number of villages suffered shelling and drone attacks but only one casualty was reported. But in the DPR, six individuals were injured by shelling.
28th/29th May
Overnight, villages in Belgorod and Kursk were attacked by MLRS, shelling and drones. However, damage was minimal and no casualties were reported. Many drones were shot down or disabled by electronic means.
29th/30th May
Many villages in Belgorod came under attack overnight but many ‘aircraft -type’ drones were shot down causing minimal damage and injuring only one civilian. Kursk also suffered shelling and drone attacks with many of the latter being shot down or disabled electronically. Some damage was caused but I have seen no reports of casualties.
30th/31st May
The village of Zozuli in Belgorod was attacked overnight when a kamikaze drone hit a bus carrying agricultural workers. One person was killed and another nine injured. Elsewhere in Belgorod many villages suffered drone attacks which damages houses and injured three civilians. Kursk villages, including Tyotkino, suffered drone attacks causing some damage but no casualties. Strikes on the DPR killed one and injured another two.
The Sea War
23rd May
According to the Military Chronicle:
Against the backdrop of numerous strikes on Crimea and Belgorod, public attention was not drawn to the Voronezh-DM strategic radar. On the night of May 23, drones or missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the radar station and severely damaged it (photos in the TG channel). These over-the-horizon radars are designed for early detection of US intercontinental nuclear missiles. There are about a dozen such radars and they are directly related to the nuclear triad.
If true, this can be seen as a direct attack on Russia’s nuclear security which could generate a retaliatory response. But the Russian MoD has not yet commented on the attack or the extent of the damage. Moreover, not everyone agrees that these photographs are genuine. See, for example, Andrei Martyanov in this short video. (31 mins). I have no way of authenticating this or many other things I report on - frustratingly. It appears that the US is concerned at the destabilising effect of these attacks on strategic nuclear radar and has asked Ukraine to desist (or so they say).
According to Southfront another failed drone attack targeted the Voronezh-DM radar on the 29th May.
29th/30th May Overnight
According to the Two Majors:
During the Night, the enemy tried to attack the transport infrastructure of Kerch in Crimea. The Crimean transport minister said that two ferries - a road ferry and a railway ferry - were hit by debris from downed missiles during the attack, and the glazing of the superstructures was damaged. There were no casualties among sailors and civilians. There were also reports of the destruction of enemy drone boats off the western coast of Crimea. In the morning, the Zaporozhye front observed up to 30 enemy aircraft-type UAVs.
Six drone boats appear to have destroyed one KS 701 Tuna Black Sea boat and damaged another near Uzkaya Bay (near Chernomorskoye) in Crimea.
30th/31st May Overnight
29 drones and 5 Neptune anti-ship missiles were shot down over Krasnador region. Port facilities were set alight along with three oil tanks - which were quickly extinguished. There were only two casualties who sustained minor injuries.
The Air War
Russian Missile/Drone Attacks
25th/26th May Overnight
According to the Military Chronicle:
A massive night strike on the airfield in Starokonstantinov is reported. The Armed Forces of Ukraine planned to use it to operate American F-16 fighters. 20 Geranium UAVs and 15 Kh-101, Kh-55 cruise missiles flew at the airfield, as well as polished with three Kinzhals.
Targets were hit in Vinnitsa, Zhitomir, Khmelnitsky, Poltava, Cherkasy and Odessa regions.
26th/27th May Overnight
Russian missiles, including Kinzhals, hit airports at Zaporozhye, Starokonstantinov and Ivano Frankivsk. Geran UAVs destroyed targets in the Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Khmelnitsky, Poltava, Cherkasy and Odessa regions. You can read more at Southfront.
28th May
Port infrastructure in Odessa was hit by Iskander missiles, according to the Two Majors.
29th/30 May Overnight
Starokonstantinov airport in Khmelnitsky was attacked with 5-7 cruise missiles. Vinnitsa, Poltava and Kharkov were also attacked. Slavyangrad provided this report of a massive Russian attack:
This night, enemy targets were attacked by Geran/Shahed attack UAVs. In parallel, at 3am Tu-95 bombers made launches: an hour later missiles began to fly into Ukraine.
▪️ The missile attack lasted 2 hours and the Shahed attack lasted 5 h 30 min;
▪️ missiles maneuvered: they were in Sumy region, Chernigov region, Kiev region, Cherkassy region, Poltava region, Vinnitsa region;
▪️ The AFU airbase Starkonstantinove in Khmelnitschyna was again attacked by both UAVs and missiles.
▪️ Explosions rattled in Poltava, Odessa, Vinnitsa, Dnipropetrovsk and Khmelnitschyna;
▪️ Kharkiv: critical infrastructure was hit, there were wounded. In total, the region was attacked by 8 missiles.
The Ground War

The Fronts
Frontline Cats
North Kharkov
The Ukrainians have deployed almost seven full brigades to the area of Liptsy - Volchansk which is double that of the Russian forces. Counterattacks from the Ukrainians are expected. On May 26th, Weeb produced this short Sitrep (12 mins) which suggests that the Russians (with 14,000 men) are tempting the Ukrainians (with 38,000 men) into a firetrap in Volchansk. Fierce fighting continued in Volchansk as the week ended.
Kupyansk
Velyka Novosilka
On May 31st, according to the Two Majors:
On the Vremyevka ledge, our troops reported successes in Staromayorskoye and Urozhaynoye, as a result of heavy fighting the RFAF advanced for several days in a row.
Chasiv Yar
Ivanivka was liberated this week along with Bilohorivka and Berestove - according to Weeb. Fighting continues along the eastern outskirts of Chasiv Yar near Kleshcheyevka and Bogdanovka - according to the Two Majors.
Krasnogorovka
According to Sitrep:
RFAF continue to press the Ukrainian defence, and heavy urban fighting is taking place. In the area of Netaylovo, Russian forces have expanded their zone of control south of the settlement and continue to advance towards Karlovka. There are also advances towards Yasnobrodovka, where fighting is taking place at the foot of the settlement.
Avdeyevka
By the end of the week, according to the Two Majors:
West of Avdeyevka, our troops are expanding the zone of control around Netaylovo. In the centre of the front between Umanskoye and Novopokrovskoye, the AFU positions west of Solovyevo have been half-covered, and the RFAF are developing their success.
Zaporozhye
Fighting has intensified south of Shcherbaki - according to the Two Majors. Positional battles continue with the use of long range weapons in the area of Rabotino and northwest of Verbovoye.
The Economic War
Russia to Increase Grain Exports
Russia had anticipated grain exports of around 65 millions tons but have no increased its forecast to 70 million tons.
World Politics
Western Idiots - Poor Annalena is So Hurt
Green German Foreign Minister, Annalena Bärbock has said that she is ‘incredibly hurt’ by the Georgian government’s decision to pass a law which will oblige Western backed NGOs to register with the government. This law, similar to one that the US has in place, would prevent foreign agencies from having unwanted influence in the country. But why should the passing of a law cause Annalena to be hurt as if this is something personal to her. Could this be yet another example of the Woke mentality?
Western backed political activists have been demonstrating violently hard against this bill in Georgia and I wouldn’t mind betting that many have been paid for their endeavours. The President vetoed the Bill - prompting the Prime Minister to call her a traitor - but the democratic parliament has backed it. I will not comment other than to say - if it’s good enough for the US: it’s good enough for Georgia.
No Taurus Missiles to Ukraine - Scholz
Last week I referred to Stephen Bryen’s claim that all Western weapons systems going to Ukraine will be accompanied by Western operators. German Chancellor Scholz has provided support for this view in declaring that Taurus missiles will not be sent to Ukraine because they must be operated by German crews - and sending German crews to Ukraine would make them participants ‘in this confrontation’ - according to Slavyangrad. However, since Scholz has changed his mind about Western missiles attacking Russian territory, he may have changed his mind on this.
Biden Opts Out of Swiss ‘Peace Conference’
Much to the dismay of Ukrainians, including the once great Z, Sleepy Joe Biden has decided to attend an election rally rather than the Swiss ‘Peace Conference’. This will send a huge signal that at the moment domestic matters are much more important to him than Ukraine. Many countries, including Brazil, South Africa and China, have already signaled their intention to stay away from what cannot really be described as a ‘Peace Conference’ since one of the main protagonists has not been invited and the other combatant (i.e. Z) has no legitimacy to negotiate. Zelensky rebuked Sleepy Joe for ‘not making the right decision’ in his choice not to attend the conference. It seems that Biden has ‘secretly’ given Z permission to attack Russian territory near Kharkov with US missiles - according to this report.
Who You Do You Think You Are Kidding Mr. Sunak
Rishi Sunak, soon to be ex-PM UK, is considering the introduction of Mandatory National Service. 18 year olds will be given the options to join the military full time for a year or commit to community service for 25 days a month in the fire, police or NHS. Unbelievable! RT writes about it here. But Sunak was not content to let his statement on behalf of the idiocracy end there: he went on to suggest that employers should give preference in their recruitment to those who have served in the military, according to this.. I have no idea what he is seeking to gain from such nonsense but we are getting close to an election. Who do you think you are kidding Mr. Sunak?
Wise Westerners - Orban
Viktor Orban is exploring legal means by which Hungary can retain NATO membership but not commit itself with actions of which it disapproves - such as an attack on Russia - according to RT. Hungary is also blocking three different tranches of funding to Ukraine valued at 500 million Euros each. Orban also said that:
In Brussels, as in many EU member states, the idea has spread that it is more important to serve certain core principles or certain political values than to serve the people. This is weird. For me, our first mission is to serve the interests of our nations.
The European leadership, he said, is more of a threat to European people than Russia is.
Wise Westerners - Erdogan
Pulling no punches, Erdogan had this to say about Netanyahu:
The world watches the barbarism of a sick maniac, psycho, blood-sucking vampire named Netanyahu, and witnesses it live on TV. Hey, American state, that blood is also on your hands! You bear the same responsibility for this genocide as Israel.
The emerging Multi-Polar World Order
Thailand to Join BRICS
The Thai cabinet has announced its intention to join BRICS.
China Not Attending Peace Conference
China has been criticised by the US and others for not be attending the upcoming Swiss ‘Peace Conference’. This is s little hypocritical really since Sleepy Joe won’t be attending. The Chinese responded thus:
China is neither the creator of, nor party to, the Ukraine crisis, nor has the country provided lethal weapons to any party thereto<...> Unlike the US, we have not and will not deliberately prolong the conflict and profit from it. Our position is to promote peace talks and a political settlement.
This is quite a reserved response typical of the Chinese but it is the response of people who are confident of themselves and their future as part of the emerging MPWO.
That’s it for another week. Sorry it’s late. Thanks for your views, subscriptions, likes shares and comments. Best Rob
Morning, just about to read through later today. I did quick fact check on Trump to see if he is bedeviled with litigation due to a political conspiracy. I can't rule it out without further research but according to wikipedia during his business life he has been involved in 4,000 pieces of litigation. Yes, 4,000. Nice to see Scotland take centre stage in raising awareness of the plight of Palestine at last nights game. Its a pity for the Scottish players that the games are behind closed doors including the game next week which is to be played in Hungary. Strange world we live in where Russians get banned for trying to protect young victims of warfare and Israel doesnt for killing them.
Another nice recap, much appreciated at saving me much time by not following a lost cause war.
"I am not going to comment on this because I have absolutely no idea what is going on here."
You don't need to. There will undoubtedly be appeals anyway going over the next several years. And it doesn't matter, according to the news reports he can still run for President. So even if convicted beyond appeal. does anyone believe a sitting judge will sentence a sitting President to jail time? I know, I know, all the morons think we're under a Biden dictatorship. That's why they're morons. All Trump is convicted of, as I understand it, is paying off a hooker with funds he wasn't supposed to use for that purpose. Big frickin' deal! No one gets twenty years for that. I robbed two banks and only got nine years, for Christ's sakes! At worst, he'll get a fine which he can easily pay.
Trump will not go to jail - unless of course they find other reasons to convict him of something more serious. Also, given the moronic state of the US electorate, no one is going to refuse to vote for him just over this hooker crap, especially since his wife hasn't left him over it (and cut off her bank account? HAH! - Although if she were smart, she would and get half his money in the divorce settlement. Shows how stupid she is...)
Unfortunately this probably means this moron will resume fucking up the world and the US as President next January. He recently said he would bomb Beijing and Moscow if China and Russia mess with the US. So we have that to look forward to - if Biden doesn't do it first.
" I try not to think about it too much and I attempt to quickly skip over the horrible images on TV channels and Telegram."
Which, of course, is what everyone does - which is why I dismiss the notion that humans give a rat's ass about each other. They don't, they never have, and they never will. So it's stupid to be pissed at me when I dismiss any concern for humans - which I do dismiss. I don't care who dies or how many as long as 1) they're not people doing useful science and engineering that actually helps the species evolve to something better, and 2) they're not people I care about (almost none), and 3) they're not hot babes.
However, that doesn't mean I support stupid wars and genocides. In my philosophy, such things are "incorrect" - not "right" or "wrong". They don't help, is a (very) short version of my philosophy, and in fact they make things worse for everyone everywhere.
If you want a less disturbing recap of what's going on, check out the weekly 2-3 hour Youtube live stream from The Electronic Intifada channel. Every week they give a recap of the week's news, an interview with some Palestinian or other person who provides context, a really excellent recap of the week's military events (lots of videos of Hamas taking out Israeli soldiers, tanks and bulldozers with excellent analysis) by Jon Elmer, and a follow-on discussion. Highly recommended: https://www.youtube.com/user/electronicintifada Their Web site which has related articles is here: https://electronicintifada.net/
"No Taurus Missiles to Ukraine - Scholz" As The Duran guys discussed today, that's a fig leaf. Since the US has now greenlit Ukraine attacks inside Russia with US weapons, Scholz no longer has a leg to stand on. So he will send them eventually. People need to understand this: there ARE NO "red lines". Not for the US and not for Russia. The US will go right up to the use of nuclear weapons and so will the Russians. This is Game Theory 101. Only a coup in the US will stop that.
"Hungary can retain NATO membership but not commit itself with actions of which it disapproves" IIRC NATO Article 5 is not compulsory on any member. I assume Hungary wants to insure that if it doesn't go along with an Article 5 call, it won't be kicked out of NATO, which is another issue. Personally I think they should just get out of NATO now while they can. Once WWIII starts, they're gonna want to be on the Russian side otherwise the West will invade them to get to Russia and then Russia will be forced to eliminate Hungary.
