Thanks Rob for the lovely photos from Moscow. The MSM tried very hard to ignore Russia on May 9th, but the unstable Hegemon has been lashing out in all directions, trying to disrupt BRICS+relationships and Russia's Victory Day celebrations:

An unconfirmed report from a FB friend:

“US VP Vance went to India to give green light for a plot (now being exposed) to destabilize Pakistan and further disruption of China. Right after Vance left, terrorist attacks broke out in India, Pakistan was accused as the perpetrator. In fact those are funded by US…

Border fire erupted in Kashmir and water supplies from India were shut. Within 2 days, a major insurgence of 200+ terrorists took over a major banking / communication hub in Pakistan. Pakistan needs to face adversities from many fronts…

Further, western media exposed Pakistan has sold ammunition to Ukraine to cover its own surging debts ($120 billion) and to a point that army’s stockpile were exhausted. If a war breakouts, Pakistan has no ammunition to sustain a war.

Pakistan has no choice but to tackle the uphill battle against US/Israel/India alliance.

China as a close ally of Pakistan immediately sent 4 Y-20 loaded with 50 PL15E AAM that caused the downing of 6 India Rafael / Su30MKI / Mig29 / Israel drones.”

And this information came through on May 7th:

"524 Ukrainian drones , 5 Neptune missiles, 6 DJAM bombs, and 2 HIMARS projectiles shot down over Moscow"

And in the Middle East, while Trump's delusion continues, Yemen has NOT agreed to stop attacking US ships. Now that the Chinese are providing help with communications, the Ansar-Allah missiles are becoming more accurate. The US has lost 2 fighter jets in one week. One when the Truman had to do a sharp turn to avoid a missile, and one that misfired off the ship. Yemen's AA think it is only a matter of time before they sink an aircraft carrier.

Here in Oz seven Jewish Pro-Palestinian groups are being attacked by loud Zionist groups as being "anti-semitic". LOL. Nope, like anyone with a sense of decency they are 'Anti-Zionist'.

Thanks for that Joy. I haven't actually seen a statement by Ansar-Allah about the truce: I am relying on what ME commentators are saying and the ridiculous Trump statement. But the Houthis are still targeting Israel with missiles though there have been no reports of them targeting US shipping. Two missiles were launched at Israel yesterday causing panic and sending hundreds of thousands to the shelters. Apparently, Trump is considering ending the Gaza war in order to stop the rocket attacks: he's only just figured that out. I just saw a statement from the Houthis: 'The American enemy has declared a halt to its aggression against our country without achieving any of its objectives and has abandoned the protection of Zionist ships. We congratulate the Leader, our armed forces, and all the free people of our nation and the world on the failure of the American enemy, the disappointment of its hopes, and the failure of its objectives'.

You might not recall my Ukrainian friend that i mentioned before? Anyway- her brother has been caught by the "recruiting" sergeants and he is now in "quarantine". Apparently, the going rate is $5K to be released from "quarantine".

That's amazing. She must be worried about her brother. Maybe he can buy his life. I wish them good luck.

-Western Ukrainian hates Putin; complains about the "so called" Holodomor even although her area was part of Poland during the Holodomor, notwithstanding any arguments about whether it was a deliberate policy to target Ukrainians or a soviet union wide issue.

Great piece again.

A couple of issue with Ukraine/Russia that i have been reflecting on. One is the role of the Greek Catholic Church in the war. I didn't even know there was such an entity but apparently its big in Western Ukraine and its at odds both now and historically with the Russian Orthodox. I always thought the boundary between Orthodox and Catholicism was Poland but no it appears to be Ukraine! Stepan Bandera was Greek Catholic for eg. The other thought was the influence of Zelensky on the way that Ukraine conducts the war. It seemed to me that there are parallels between the targeting of civilians in Ukraine/Russia and the Middle East and i wondered if there was some linkage. I just wonder if Zelensky is influenced by the Chabad ideology which purportedly is a significant influence amongst the Israeli Settlers. I didn't know about that either until one of your readers mentioned it.

Excellent report Dr. Campbell as usual,

I was actually a little concerned that the Ukrainians would attempt a terrorist act during the Russian Victory event. I am amazed at the warped version of history that most of my generation was taught in school. My perception about the naivete of citizens of the U.S. WRT war is that we have not suffered from war on our shores since the so-called civil war. The Russians really took out the Germans in WW2 as both Churchill and Roosevelt acknowledged. What the Americans contributed was implements of war, which was not insignificant but we have no concept of what it means to lose one fifth of the population to war. The world would be a better place if the U.S. government would allow peaceful trade with the world instead of attempting to bully the rest of the world into submission. Keep up the good work.

Yes Giuseppe. To see Trump comment this week that the US was responsible for victory alone in both world wars shows how naive he is.

All historians agree that all 3 major parties played pivotal roles and depended on each other. But the Soviet Union did bare the brunt of the fighting and dying.

I doubt the U.S. would change course due to human rights concerns in Yemen.

My gut feeling is the Watlz resignation / move to the U.N. is a bigger factor. Plus his sister in laws nomination as surgeon general was ended.

Seems more likely due to a Saudi request to avoid embarrassment during his visit. Plus to send a signal to Israel. And maga voters don’t like foreign wars, and are burnt out in the after the Iraq and Afghanistan fiascos. Plus Trump may have seen how ineffective the U.S. has been with Yemen.

I agree that the human rights issue would not have been big for Trump. I think this was sending a signal to Israel - sort it out yourself Bibi. There does appear to have been a change of attitude. Time will tell.

Thanks for the update Rob. Up to the regular excellent standard. I sense a change in the air too so it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Below the surface there seems to be a lot happening that we can only guess about.

Thanks Chris. To be honest, one minute I think that things are changing and the next I see something like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE0t_9i2ww0 from Laith Marouf and then I'm not so sure. You are right, lots of things are going on behind the scenes that we know nothing about.

Yes, good to be back-

I won't bore you wont with the detail but i lost my riding mare after a drawn out process so it was ironic that you have Zhukov on a charger.

You are right but look at the rider behind, his horse is also playing up, he is straight backed and head level whereas Zhukov is arched and his head is looking down: Zhukov is clearly a novice but he did really well. The horse is ready to bolt or rear.

It's Friday so, "In site of" should be "In spite of". Some real gems in this week's report - too many to mention individually.

The Cardinals have, seemingly, gone full Middle Ages with their choice of Il Papa. I know nothing of the man, but I'm sure others do. Let's see if he's another Rhetorician or a moral and conscientious representative of the Teacher of the Love Commandment.

The new Pope, although American, spent 2/3 of his life in foreign lands. He is considered a Progressive on international affairs, but very dogmatic on clerical ones. I'm guessing that this means he will be anti war, but also anti-abortion. So he's a mixed bag.

Good stuff, Rob. I share your concern about the US portraying itself as peacemakers while they started, and continue to materially support, the war in Ukraine.

I guess that if he withdraws support for Ukraine, he’ll be accused of weakness, which is anathema to his self-image. That’s the only reason I can think that he’s dawdling like this.

At the very least, he should suspend the missile targeting support the US is provinding, which continues to kill Russian innocents.

US foreign policy at its usual murderous self.

Thanks for the update Rob. Lots of interesting stuff there as usual.

It looks like the banderists are doing their utmost to provoke Russia and move further away from peace with their kamikaze 'excursion' into the Tyotkino area.

What a blatant disregard for lives.

I was reading some history on the WW2 Kursk battle this week for a refresh.

It is quite telling that the Soviet front commander responsible for the Kursk defence lines was none other than Vatutin.

No coincidence he was later ambushed by Ukrainian UPA anti Russian/nazi sympathisers in Rovno in 1944 and suffered injuries leading to his death shortly after.

The Russian offer of temporary ceasefire looks like it was completely ignored and one wonders what the Russian revenge will be.

Legitimny seems to think that gas storage hubs in West Ukraine will be targeted.

It was good to see that the the US has dropped its Israeli boycott bill which would have penalised people for openly boycotting Israeli products.

As you say the US/ Trump attitude might be diverging away from Israeli interests but zionist influence is still strong so I wonder what their next move will be?

Once again thanks for the roundup and lets hope India and Pakistan see sense.
