The Iran War: Summary Week Two
13th March 2026 - Day 14
This week has once more been dominated by the Iran War which I feel compelled to report in detail so as to give people a flavour of what is happening. But since this would have made my Update too long, I have provided this separate article for Iran. You can view the Ukraine Weekly Update here.
The Iran war is an example of US exceptionalist, arrogant hubris which is typical of fading Empires continuing to live in a past that afforded them prestige and dominance. But the world has changed. The fact that the war is going badly for USrael (i.e. the term I am using for the US and Israel combined) could have been foreseen by anyone who has been following things closely or for anyone who saw footage of Iran’s destruction of Israel during the 12 day war. The fact that the US went to war, without fully appreciating the possible consequences, demonstrates the monumental incompetence at the heart of the Trump administration. It appears that Trump now wants out, but others, including the Israelis, want to stay in the game. With the son as Supreme Leader replacing a father who opposed nuclear weapons, the big question on everyone’s lips is: will Iran get Nukes? I should say that mass censorship, particularly from Israel, is obstructing the search for truth for all of us.
Iran War
6th March - Day 7
According to Janta Ka the US is spending $5 billions dollars a day on the Iran war and Trump is asking for a $500 billion dollar supplement so he can continue the fight. If I were a US tax player I would not simply annoyed and angry: I would apoplectic with rage.
Clare Short and George Monbiot are among the small number of voices speaking up against the war.
He posted this even though Iranian attacks are increasing.
Iranian Attacks
Today the Iranians set a US oil tanker alight near the Kuwait border. An unmanned boat was used in the attack - similar to those being used by Ukraine in the Black Sea. A cargo ship was also set alight - probably because it refused to stop.
Iranian missiles have hit what appear to be civilian residential blocks after suffering Israeli attacks targeting civilians for years. Of course, the Israelis are still targeting civilians. But now the gloves are off for Iran which brings the conflict onto an even footing. Targeting civilians is wrong of course but the Israelis can hardly complain. Now their citizens will experience the suffering Palestinians have endured for decades including the 73,000 that have been killed since October 2023. However, I am not sure whether the residential blocks in question were being used by the Israeli military.
Attacks on US bases continue as Prince Sultan Airbase in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) receives a ballistic missile. The Iranians also destroyed a Patriot system in the UAE.
Heznbollah/Resistance
Today Hezbollah launched massive rocket attacks against Israeli vehicles in northern occupied Palestine. The attacks are preventing Israel from entering Southern Lebanon. They are also attacking Israeli targets in the Golan Heights. In the past 24 hours Hezbollah has conducted 70 operations against Israel. They targeted a group of 3 Israeli helicopters attempting to infiltrate into South Lebanon bringing at least one down.
Iraq
Iraqi resistance forces have launched 27 operations against US bases in Iraq in a 24 hour period.
USraeli Attacks
According to this report the USraelis are taking a heavy toll on the Iranian navy but precise numbers are not available. It is possible that 30 vessels have been destroyed but all of this could be propaganda.
The Israeli forces rescued 301 of their compatriots from the UAE.
7th March - Day 8
Today, resistance group ‘Iman of the Prophet’ attacked the US base at Al Zaafra (UAE) to avenge the killing of 165 or more schoolgirls in Iran. According to this report, there were 200 casualties killed and wounded. On Saturday afternoon, the Iranians attacked a US oil tanker in the Persian gulf with a suicide drone. Trump has promised to escort tankers in the Straits of Hormuz but that would suicidal since tankers and escorting vessels would be exposed to artillery fire.
It was confirmed that the Iranians destroyed a THAAD radar system in Jordan. This is the third such system they have destroyed. The Iranians have also attacked the oil refinery at Haifa - probably in retaliation for Zionist attacks on an Iranian oil refinery in Iran.
Hezbollah
Hezbollah continues its operations against Israeli targets including a large scale missile attack on targets in Haifa. Iranian drones were also used in the attack which appears to have been coordinated between the two allies. According to Saba:
Hezbollah: We targeted an Israeli enemy forces gathering at the Calvary Hill site north of the Kfar Yuval settlement for the second time with a rocket barrage.
- We targeted the Ramla base southeast of Tel Aviv with a barrage of advanced missiles.
- We targeted the Glilot base (headquarters of Military Intelligence Unit 8200) on the outskirts of Tel Aviv with a swarm of attack drones
Iraq
Iraqi resistance forces have attacked assets of British Petroleum in Basra where explosions have been heard. Kurdish groups in Iraq are also being attacked in what appears to be the opening of another front according to this.
USraeli Attacks
Iran’s FM Araghchi has condemned an USraeli attack on a water desalination plant on Qeshm island as a war crime. The Iranians have not attacked Israel’s desalination plants so far but they could do in future. It should be noted that the Gulf States/Israel are 40-90% dependent on desalination plants whereas Iran has only 2% dependency. In response to this attack the Iranians hit the Al Jafir base in Bahrain from where the attack on the plant was launched. The 26th wave of Operation True Promise 4 was launched today. It seems that the Iranians are reaping the benefit of their destruction of radar systems which is enabling them to hit their targets more easily because the Israeli have only about a minute to respond. When the radars were in place they were given 5 minutes or more.
The Israelis have also attacked Iranian oil storage facilities at Kuhak, Shahran and Karaj and Iran has promised to respond in kind should such attacks continue.. The Americans claim to be annoyed about this because Israel acted independently. The toxic cloud created by burning oil is spreading to Central Asia and China but it has caused many problems for the 50 millions people of Tehran who are suffering showers of acid rain and the pollution of their drinking water. The people of Tehran and future children could suffer cancers and birth defects in future. The USraelis also targeted the IRGC Air Force command centre in Tehran. I have no confirmation that they succeeded in eliminating any Iranian military personnel. The USraelis also attacked residential buildings in Rey, south of Tehran.
USrael Casualties
The Israelis are trying to downplay casualty figures but this video from Janta Ka provides eye witness accounts of the true casualties. Ka also claims that the USraelis have destroyed 18 hospitals, 7 elementary schools and a sports stadium along with 1,300 civilians (up until Day 8 of the war).

Iranian Spokesman
Pezeshkian
In a conciliatory gesture, Iran PM Pezeshkian has announced that it will not launch further attacks on Gulf countries unless they allow their airspace to be used by the USraelis. This decisions was made by the IRGC not by politicians. You can read more at the Iran Times. I think this is part of Iran’s efforts to wean these puppets off US support and maybe turn East. On this day Pezeshkian spoke with Putin on the telephone.
Iran Military Strategy
Iran is operating a Decentralised Mosaic Defence strategy which the numerous military districts will continue to operate independently even if the central command is eliminated. You can read more at the Palestinian Times.
March 8th (Day 9)
Iranian Attacks
Today, the Iranians launched the 28th wave of Operation True Promise 4 which targeted Beersheba, Tel Aviv and Azraq airbase. According to the Iranians, this was the largest attack of the war. They will now be using new generation missiles with very heavy payloads against Israeli targets, including Beersheba and the Azrak airbase in Tel Aviv, according to Mahmood. Targets in the east of Saudi Arabia were also attacked. The IRGC has announced that attacks will expand and intensify in the coming days. According to Nima on Dialogue Works, the IRGC plans to increase missiles launched at Israel by 800% and drones by 20%. The Iranians attacked Haifa oil refinery and a base for unmanned boats. They also attacked a radar tower at Ali-Al Salem air base in Kuwait, the Salman Poet Area and the Hyatt Hotel (housing US military personnel); a desalination plant in Bahrain; fuel tanks at an airport in Kuwait and the Erbil base in Iraq. According this report, 17 naval vessels have been destroyed. Bahrain is still allowing USraeli attacks from its territory. I have seen a report that Iran has captured some US personnel.
In Tel Aviv today Israelis took to the streets to protest the war against Iran while other citizens are demanding that Netanyahu, who appears to be in hiding, make a public appearance.
A leader of the IRGC has announced what some, such a Alastair Crooke, have already suggested: Iran’s objective is to evict US forces from the Middle East. The Iranian Vice President said the same thing.
Hezbollah/Islamic Resistance
Today, the Islamic resistance hit the Zionist settlement at Kiryat Shmona and the border town of Markaba in Lebanon.
USrael Actions
On this day the US Carrier Gerald Ford set out on its journey to the Indian Ocean to join the US task force.
Iranian/Palestinian/ Lebanese Civilian Casualties/Damage
Up until the 8th March, according to Iranian Red Crescent:
As a result of the US and Israeli strikes, 9,669 civilian buildings were damaged, of which 7,943 were residential buildings and 1,617 were commercial buildings. A number of medical and educational institutions were also damaged, which significantly affected people’s lives and the economic infrastructure.
Today the Israelis targeted a residential building in Lebanon killing 20 people including an entire family.
Late on the 8th, the Iranian army announced the following:
Iranian Army: 104 Killed, 32 injured in U.S. attack on “Dena” ship. The Iranian Army announced on Sunday that a “brutal attack” by the U.S. Navy on the Iranian ship “Dena” on March 4 resulted in the deaths of 104 sailors and the injury of 32 others.
The ship had been traveling in International waters.
Israelis Leaving
There are huge queues at Ben Gurion airport as many Israelis start to leave.
Political/Diplomatic Moves
Hypocritical Witkoff had the nerve to criticise Putin for assisting Iran with intelligence when the US has been providing Ukraine with intelligence and the support of military personnel since 2022. What a Plonker.

Joti Brar is the Vice Chair of the Communist Party of Great Britain and an outspoken critic of imperialism and all its vices. She appears on You Tube in various chat shows including that of Garland Nixon. Whereas myself and others have characterised the Ukraine war, and now the Iran war, as conflicts between the Unipolar World, represented by the decaying US Hegemon (assisted by Israel) and the emerging Multi Polar World Order, including BRICS, Joti views it through Lenin’s Imperialist perspective. Lenin believed that Imperialism is the highest (and final) stage of capitalism.
There is no doubt that capitalism is collapsing or that the Hegemon (under Trump) constitutes a naked imperialist power that no longer feels the need to cloak itself in a veneer of liberalism. It is supported by minor imperialist powers such as Britain and France along with many supplicants such as European countries, Canada and Australia. But the US and Israel are the only powers that can actually practice imperialism by attacking other countries - which is what imperialist do. France and Britain assist but they rarely initiate.
The other side of this coin is the resistance to imperialism which has come from Russia in Ukraine and now from Iran in the Middle East. Joti views Iran’s actions as an attempt to free the Middle East from imperialism. The Iranians have now said that their objective is to evict the US from the Middle East permanently (and to neutralise Israel). Iran’s objective is to free the Middle East from Imperialism. So, the war in Iran is one of the most important ever fought against imperialism. You can view Joti Brar’s analysis here. The Iran War - 9th March (Day 10)
The Assembly of Experts of Leadership has appointed Mojtaba Kamenei as Supreme Leader of Iran, replacing his father. I hope he will keep himself safe. Trump has already suggested that he will be killed if he doesn’t play ball. Mojtaba was injured in the strike that killed his father, wife and child. He is therefore highly motivated to defeat the USraelis.
Loyalty marches in support of the new leader are under way. The defiant protesters stayed on the streets in spite of USraeli air strikes. Putin was among the first to congratulate Mojtaba and proclaim his unwavering support for Iran. China was also supportive. Trump, on the other hand, was not happy.
Iranian Attacks
The 30th and 31st waves of True Promise-4 were launched today. The Iranians have announced that they will no longer confine their attacks to military targets but will hit USraeli major investments and vital interests in the Middle East. ‘Destruction will continue to rain down on your heads’, an IRGC spokesman said. Overnight, the Iranians attacked Rishon LeZion in Tel Aviv along with the North of the occupied territories. The Iranians are using Khormeshahr or other missiles which launch about 30 projectiles ahead of them. The missiles and the projectiles are impossible to intercept.
Bahrain also came under attack, according to this. The Baku oil refinery (controlled by the US) was also hit and Haifa was hit again. Iranian drones also attacked the US base near Erbil in Iraq. A US diplomatic facility near Baghdad airport was also attacked.
Iran used cluster munitions to attack Brei Brack (Tel Aviv). According to Scott Ritter, the Iranians have hit the houses of Bibi Netanyahu and Ben Gvir. Apparently, Netanyahu’s brother has been killed and Ben Gvir is seriously injured. I hope this is true.
Late on the 9th this report, from the ‘Seal of the Prophets’ military unit claimed that supply depots and collection points at the US airbase at Al-Udeid in Kuwait were hit along with Ali Al-Salem. Missiles and drones were used. Also late in the day it was reported that 10 one ton solid fuel Khaibar missiles were launched into the heart of Tel Aviv. The US Navy’s 5th base in Bahrain was also hit with the same type of missile. The radar at US base 512 in the Israeli desert was hit along with Al-Udayri base in Kuwait. Fuel depots, assembly points, helicopter landing pads and much more were destroyed. Late in the day an Iranian missile landed in Beit Shemesh causing much damage. Rescue teams are on their way to the scene. Oil and gas facilities in Haifa were also attacked.
Hezbollah
Today, Hezbollah hit the Israeli settlement of Margaliot with a swarm of drones. They also hit the city of Karyat Shmona in northern occupied Palestine with a rocket barrage while another rocket barrage targeted Israeli soldiers in Khallat al-Mahafir. This day, Hezbollah bombed Jerusalem for the very first time.
They also used precision missiles to hit a communications centre in the Wadi Aila of central Palestine 160kms from the Lebanese border and Israel’s Main Military radar system in Beit Shemesh. The communications centre and the radar system could be one and the same. I should point out that Israel is under constant drone and rocket attacks which are clearly being coordinated between Iran and Hezbollah. Towards the end of the day, Islamic Resistance announced:
In response to the criminal Israeli aggression that targeted dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, as well as the southern suburbs of Beirut, and as part of the series of operations of the devoured locust, the Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance targeted the “Mesgaf” base and the Yodefat Military Industries Company north-east of the occupied city of Haifa with dozens of missiles at 19:40 on Wednesday, 11/03/2026.
They also hit the Israeli base at Omayad, north of Lake Tiberius with salvos of ‘specialised missiles’.
USraeli Attacks
Overnight, the Zionists conducted 7 raids on the town of Jouya in South Lebanon injuring a number of civilians. Overnight, according to Rybar:
Last night, there were few reports of Epstein coalition strikes on Iran (possibly due to internet problems in the republic). The attacks targeted the IRGC Air Force headquarters and Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, Bandar Abbas, and the Isfahan Optics Industries facility in Isfahan.
This morning, oil facilities continued to burn in Tehran and are blocking out the sun.
The Israelis claim to have destroyed a number of F-14 jets at Isfahan International Airport. They also claim to have hit a rocket production site and some missile launchers in Iran. They also destroyed a Russian cultural centre in Lebanon and hit 3 Iranian tankers in the straits if Hormuz. Human Rights Watch s accused the Israelis of using banned white phosphorous in residential areas of South Lebanon. Today, Marco Rubio announced that the US objective is to end Iran’s ability to launch missiles. Now let’s see how that works out.
The Americans also claim to have hit one of Iran’s last two Soleimani class corvettes.
Iranian/Palestinian/ Lebanese Casualties
21 Lebanese civilians were killed and 22 injured by Zionist air strikes on Southern Lebanon. Half a million people have been displaced. Of course, the Zionists continue to murder innocents in Gaza. Later, another Israeli attack on Lebanon killed 13 innocents and injured another 28.
Casualties - USrael
32 civilians were injured by Iranian drone attacks on Sitra in Bahrain. The Israelis announced that 1 person was killed in this attacked while elsewhere 2 of their soldiers were killed.
According to this report, US interceptors veered off course and hit civilians in Bahrain.

Political/Diplomatic Moves
Today the US pulled its embassy staff out of Saudi Arabia whereas Russian and Chines diplomats are staying put. According to a report which came originally from the Washington Post, a senior Israeli official has said:
We fear an endless war. We’re considering ending it without overthrowing the regime.
Well that’s jolly decent of you fella.
This fits with rumours I have heard that Israel has been calling for a ceasefire. Today a senior figure in the IRGC has said that the war will continue until the full liberation of Palestine. He said that Iran is willing and prepared to fight for ten years. Mahmood OD talks about it here.. Mahmood also provides some rare footage of the devastation in Israel which evaded the censors. The US has also been reaching out to Iran through intermediaries for talks but Iran has rejected the approach.
The IRGC has announced that from now on it will not be launching missiles with war heads weighing less than a ton.
I have heard that in a meeting with the Gulf Cooperation Council in Moscow, Sergei Lavrov laid in the Gulf Leaders who were critical of Iran which had attacked US airbases in their countries. Why didn’t you speak out when USrael attacked Iran, he asked and why have you not condemned the murder of 170 schoolgirls? Alastair Crooke discussed the matter here. I’ve also heard a rumour that Putin is not giving Modi a discount on the oil because he didn’t condemn the attack on Iran and visited Israel in support of Netanyahu just before the war started. Iran is a BRICS country and should have had India’s support. India has to choose sides.
Today, Saudi Arabia confirmed that it is reducing oil production due to the blockade, which will impact on oil price.
Late on this day a IRGC spokesman announced that the attacks on Turkiye, Azerbaijan and Cyprus were false flags carried out by Israel.
Still later, it was reported that Trump and Putin talked about Ukraine and Iran in a telephone conversation initiated by Trump. Putin pushed for a negotiated settlement on Iran and put forward proposals to end the war. Later, Pete Hegseth said that the conversation brough hope for peace in Ukraine and the Middle East.
France has had its request for a ceasefire in Lebanon rejected.
Interestingly, Trump has declared that the war is almost done. That may sound a little outlandish but it is possible that Trump is ready to declare victory and leave. If that happened I wonder what the Iranians would do. I suppose they could say that they are at war and will not accept a ceasefire. Iran’s deputy FM, Abadi, has said that Iran will end the war only when it is certain that the USraelis agree not to repeat their aggression in future. Iran’s FM has said that dialogue with the US is not on the agenda. Given the fact that the USraelis are incapable of keeping to agreements I think Iran should destroy as much of Israel’s military capability as it can before agreeing a ceasefire.
Apparently, the Azerbaijanis are sending aid to Iran so they obviously don’t believe that the recent attack on them has come from Iran.
March 10th (Day 11)
Iranian Attacks
Today, the Iranians announced wave 33 of Operation ‘True Promise 4’ and attacked the US Consulate in the UAE. Five US bases were attacked this day along with the gas/oil refinery at Haifa. Later they announced the 35th and 36th waves. I’m not sure whether there was a 34th wave.
They also claim to have destroyed the above radar system in Tel Aviv. Later in the day they hit Victoria base at Baghdad airport with a swarm of drones. They also attacked the US air base at Harir in Kurdistan. The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (UAE) was forced to shut down a refinery after a drone attack. Iran is also taking its toll of MQ-9 Reaper drones. 11 have been shot down so far. On the 10th March they shot down 10 advanced drones over Iranian air space. This is important because these drones are used to hunt for targets inside Iran such as missile launchers. Some say that Iran has launched missiles at the US base in Turkiye. However, Araghchi has denied that Iran has lobbed missiles at Turkiye. I am inclined to believe him.
Later in the day, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps:
The 35th wave of Operation True Promise 4 has been launched with the firing of strategic missiles of the Fatah, Emad, Khaibar, and Qadr types towards targets in occupied Jaffa, Beit Shemesh, occupied Al-Quds, in addition to American bases.
The Iranians have continued their attacks on Bahrain, hitting a hotel housing US troops. According to this report, Iran has destroyed Patriot systems in Iraq and Kuwait - among other targets.
I should say that the Iranian people are on the streets every night in support of their government - even when missiles are falling around them. Professor Marandi talks about it here.
Late in the day the IRGC announced:
With the call of “Oh Commander of the Faithful”, the 37th wave of Operation Sincere Promise 4 begins with major missile attacks, launching precision and heavy missiles with fission warheads weighing over 1 ton, from the Khorramshahr and Khaybar missile classes, with a fission warhead capable of causing earthquakes, towards the enemy bases of the United States and the usurping Zionist entity.
According to this report, the Iranians began to mine the Straits of Hormuz today but this may not be true. The US is claiming to have destroyed 16 Iranian mine laying vessels.
Hezbollah/Islamic Resistance
Hezbollah continues to halt Zionist incursions into Lebanon. Today they halted the Zionists near the town of Khiam, killing a number of the IDF and damaging 2 Merkava tanks in the process. They also hit a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the border town of Houla. Islamic resistance attacked several Zionist positions in Southern Lebanon while Shamshon (a Zionist command and logistics base) was attacked with a swarm of drones. Shamshon is situated west of Lake Tiberias. Islamic Resistance claims to be averaging 22 attacks a day in Lebanon.
Gaza
The Zionists continue to kill innocents in Gaza and continue to block aid.
USrael Attacks
Tabriz in Iran (above) came under attack today. The Zionists are targeting the outskirts of Aytarun and Wadi Al-Saluk with internationally prohibited phosphorus shells.
USrael is attacking hospitals; schools; ambulance centres and residential buildings on a daily basis in Iran
On this day according to Rybar:
In Iran, the Greater Tehran metro area came under fire again — an underground IRGC complex linked to ballistic missile production, as well as facilities in Karaj. Strikes also hit Ahvaz, Bandar Abbas, and Bushehr, where satellite imagery later showed the consequences of strikes on an air base and arsenals.
Iranian/Palestinian/Lebanese Casualties
An Israeli airstrike killed a Lebanese civilian in Kfarjoz (South Lebanon) while two government officials were killed in Abbas Baalbeki South Lebanon. On the same day, 7 Citizens killed in Zionist Raids on Qalaouiya, Zawtar, and Ouzai
Casualties - USrael
Today the Israelis reported 2 deaths and an injury in Central Israel. One woman died and 8 civilians were injured by an attack on a hotel in Bahrain accommodating US troops.
Political/Diplomatic Moves
Today, Bibi Netanyahu said that Israel’s aim is to get the Iranian people to abandon its dictatorship. First, Iran is not a dictatorship and second: it’s not going to happen Bibi. Donald J, who is saying that they have virtually won the war, is asking Turkiye’s Erdogan to join him in fighting Iran. Trump is so, so ignorant. The duplicitous Erdogan is Netanyahu’s enemy and his people would revolt if the country became involved in a war on Israel’s side. Trump is telling the world that the war is ‘very complete' and will end soon. This was said in order to reduce oil prices - and it worked. But for how long? The International Energy agency has released over 100 million barrels of oil from reserves to prevent oil price rises, according to Mahmood OD and others. With a messianic fervour, Trump is warning Iran that the US will hit easily destroyable targets (i.e. e.g. schools and hospitals) that will make it impossible for Iran to build back. The US will hit Iran 20 times harder if it doesn’t open the Straits of Hormuz, he warned. ‘Death, Fire and Fury will reign upon them’, he said, in a messianic tweet that will galvanise the Iranian people and inspire them to resist. But Trump’s statement is a sign of US impotence. If he attempts such destruction on Iran, God only knows what Israel will look like. Some of his advisers are pushing him to outline an exit strategy.
In a canny move, Iran is offering passage through the Straits of Hormuz to countries that expel US and Israeli ambassadors while the Lebanese government is shamefully asking for talks with Israel. But Hezbollah will keep on fighting no matter what. Today, Putin had a phone call with Iran’s President Pezeshkian, offered his support and called for diplomacy to end the conflict.
Oil
It appears that Saudi Arabia; Kuwait; Iraq and the UAE have cut oil production by one third.
March 11th (Day 12)
Iranian Attacks
Overnight, there was a missile attack on Tel Aviv and as this footage shows, the air defences are nowhere to be seen. I have seen many videos today of attacks on Israel/Tel Aviv where the air defences are not even being launched. Bahrain also came under attack overnight. One of the Iranian missiles carried a message: ‘In memory of the victims of Epstein Island'. Many commentators are referring to Trump’s regime as the Epstein regime. The Israeli ‘Tall Hushimer’ base was hit by a ‘heavy missile’ overnight while the IRGC announced that it will now be targeting technological infrastructure ‘in the region'. I assume the region includes Israel and the Gulf States. According to the IRGC:
We targeted Zionist military bases in Beersheba, West Al-Quds, and Haifa.
- Wave 37 targeted large-scale American targets in Erbil and the Fifth Fleet.
- In Wave 37, we launched the largest quantity of super-heavy Khorramshahr missiles in multiple layers, and the wave continues.
The Iranians claim that wave 37, which lasted 3 hours, was the biggest attack yet. Hey Donald: they ain’t running out of missiles pal.
In the morning, the Dubai international airport was attacked while its neighbour, Saudi Arabia, suffered a huge Iranian missile/drone attack. The Saudi MoD claims to have shot down 7 missiles and 24 drones. According to a report in Pravda, the Iranians have damaged the USS Abraham Lincoln.
Today the Iranians attacked oil facilities at the port of Al Salalah in Oman. I had heard that Iran had started laying mines but I didn’t realise that they can do so using ballistic missiles in a manner similar to Russian ground mine laying in Ukraine. However, we can’t be certain that Iran has mined the Straits: the story came from CBS. It is obvious that Iran can block the Straits without mines. The IRGC announced that Wave 39 of True Promise-4 began today aimed at US targets in the region.
Two vessels - i.e. ‘Express Room’ and ‘Mayuree Maree’ were fired on by Iran in the Straits of Hormuz. Iran has said that it will only allow ‘friendly’ vessels to pass. Late in the day, the resistance group “Saraya Awliya al-Dam” announced Four Operations Against US Bases in Iraq.
The Iranians attacked an American oil tanker in an Iraqi port with an unmanned boat causing the above fire. The Iranians hit 5 cargo ships in the Gulf today according to this report.
An Iranian missile also sank the above oil tanker off the coast of the northern Gulf.
Today, “Saraya Awliya al-Dam,” affiliated to the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, announced that it carried out four operations targeting US bases inside and outside of Iraq.
Today, the Iranians hit the ‘Old Ruwais Oil Refinery’ in the UAE. Yesterday they hit the ‘New Ruwais Oil Refinery’.
Late today, the IRGC announced that it will be targeting US and Israeli banks.
Also late in the day, Iranian missiles had reached Be’er Sheba and the UAE announced attacks by 13 missiles and 39 drones. Northern Israel was under heavy bombardment today from rockets and missiles.
Hezbollah/Islamic Resistance - Lebanon
Today Hezbollah launched ‘Operation Windstorm’ against Israel while the Islamic resistance launched operation ‘devoured chaff'. Hebrew media has reported an attack by 150 rockets over the past 24 hours.
Gaza
The Zionists are reducing aid into Gaza to 10% of what it should be getting. They continue to murder dozens of Palestinians seeking aid. In Khan Younis yesterday the Israelis killed 60 and injured 200 aid seekers. So the Genocide continues.
Iraq
The ‘Islamic Resistance’ has been busy in Iraq. In the past 24 hours they have launched 31 operations while in the past 12 days they have launched 291 operations killing 13 Americans and injuring dozens more. An Iraqi port official has told Reuters that 2 oil tankers have been attacked in territorial waters, according to this.
USrael Attacks
Overnight, Karaj City (west of Tehran) was attacked, possible by war planes.
According to this report:
Massacre in Al-Shahabiyah town: A number of victims are still trapped under the rubble, including three children from the same family who were inside the targeted building.
The Zionists are also attacking the suburbs of Beirut where an apartment building was hit. Throughout the day, the USraelis continued to attack residential areas and civilians in Iran. The US has claimed to have destroyed 10 ‘inactive’ ships of the Iranian navy today but this could be exaggerated propaganda of course. Overnight, the USraelis attacked a bank in Iran and the Iranians may now target US banks and economic centres in the Gulf States and in Israel. Please, please do.
Another school has been hit in Central Iran - I have no reports of casualties as yet.
Donald J has been claiming that the USraelis have destroyed a large number of Iranian ships but an Iranian Army spokesman said that none of their boats are present in ports or docks. This video shows large numbers of fast boats stored underground where the USraelis can’t get at them.
Iranian/Palestinian/Lebanese Casualties
Today in Iran, 12 ambulance crew members were killed and 19 ambulances damaged by the USraelis. In Lebanon, the Zionists killed 6, including 5 members of the same family. Another 8 were killed in Tebnine, Southern Lebanon and 6 more were killed elsewhere in Lebanon which has now has suffered 634 killed and 1586 injured since the war began. In Tehran, an USrael attack on a residential has killed many with many more buried under the rubble. You can see footage here. In Southern Lebanon, Israeli air strikes killed 6 Palestinian civilians and injured 3 others.
Casualties USrael
Today, the Israelis announced that 2,557 settlers have been injured since the war began. There must have been deaths but this report doesn’t mention them.
Political/Diplomatic Moves
Maria Zakharova has condemned the recent attack on the Russian Consulate in Iran as a ‘flagrant violation of fundamental international law'. Donald J is huffing and puffing, threatening Iran if they place mines in the Straits of Hormuz. They will be dealt with ‘quickly and violently’, Trump said, like the wolf trying to destroy the pigs’ house of bricks with its breath. He still thinks Iran is made of straw. Today Iran put forward conditions for talks: i.e. non-aggression guarantees; reparations; recognition of its right to enrich uranium for a peaceful nuclear program. This would be far too humiliating for Trump. Spain has withdrawn its ambassador from Israel. Whereas Trump is saying that there’s virtually nothing left to attack in Iran, Israel’s Defence Minister Katz is saying that Israel will continue ‘without any time limit for as long as necessary until we achieve all objectives and decisively win the campaign'. It seems to me that Trump wants out but others do not. The following message came from Larijani.

Iranian Attacks
According to this report, fires have broken out at aircraft fuel storage facilities in Bahrain following an Iranian missile attack.
Fuel tanks at the port of Salalah, Oman, have been set alight (see above photo).
The above photo shows fuel tanks burning in Muharraq (Bahrain) which was targeted by suicide drones. According to this report, Tel Aviv and Haifa were attacked overnight but the Zionist air defences decided to stay in bed. According to the Iranian Army, which is separate from the IRCG:
We attacked the headquarters of the Israeli “Shabak”, which is the heart of the operations of the internal security service that handles tasks such as leading security operations.
Shabak is situated in the centre of Tel Aviv and is sometimes called Shin Bet. The Iranians have also hit another US tanker in the Gulf after it failed to respond to warnings. According to another report:
The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced an attack on a container ship off the coast of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.
Overnight, Iranian missiles and drones attacked Saudi Arabia; Bahrain, the UAE and Kuwait. Three tankers have been hit by unmanned boats at the port of Umm Qasr in Basra. The Erbil base in Iraq was also hit as you can see here. Wave 40 has hit 50 sites in Lebanon, assisted by the Lebanese resistance. According to the IRGC the 40th wave operation:
….included Qadr, Imad, Khaibarshkan, and Fattah missiles, in addition to extensive drone attacks. The strikes targeted sites across Israel from Haifa in the north to Tel Aviv and Beersheba in the south, according to Iranian media. Iranian reports also said that the attacks targeted the Palmachim airbase, the Ovda airbase, and the headquarters of Israel’s Shin Bet internal security service.
The Ovda (Uvda) air is a strategic base used for training Israeli pilots and is home to US F-22 jets. Palmachin (Palmahim) air base is a centre for satellite launches and missile defence systems such as David’s sling. Some say that Wave 40 lasted five hours.
According to this report in Tass, the Iranians have hacked and disabled Israel’s railway system.
Today, the IRGC launched Wave 41 of True Promise - 4 which targeted:
…US troop concentrations on Sheikh Zayed Road and the US forces’ position at Ahmed Al Jaber Airport with a precision-guided Fateh hypersonic missile. Al Dhafra Air Base, the US Marine Corps headquarters, and US mobile bases in Iraq were targeted with continuous, targeted, and effective bombardment. The headquarters of the Zionist warlords in Tel Aviv were targeted with continuous, targeted, and effective bombardment.

Towards the end of the day I saw this report of a fire aboard the USS Gerald R Ford. The US claims that it was non combat related.
Hezbollah/Resistance Groups
Overnight, Hezbollah hit Haifa Naval Base and Karmel airbase in Haifa with ‘precision missiles’. Islamic Resistance attacked Meron airbase in the north of occupied Palestine damaging a radar and attacked several Zionist bases in the occupied territories overnight. Islamic Resistance in Iraq claims to have carried out 13 operations against US bases in the past 24 hours. The Jenin and Hebron Brigades of the Saraya Al-Quds, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement carried out 2 operations against the Zionists in the West Bank. Overnight, according to this report, Hezbollah launched 150 rockets and a number of drones into Northern Israel in a joint attack with Iran. Hezbollah called the operation ‘eaten straw’. According to the Jerusalem Post, Hezbollah possesses over 1,000 long range missiles to attack Israel. Late in the day, Hezbollah announced its attack on Nahariya (northern occupied Palestine) and a gathering of Zionists in Markaba with precision missiles.
Two US fuel supply aircraft were attacked in Western Iraq today. One crashed while the other made it back to Israel. The attack was launched by the Iraqi Islamic Resistance according to this. The six crew members on board the crashed plane were killed according to this.
Gaza
In Gaza the Zionist have killed 1 and injured 9 in the past 24 hours.
USrael Attacks
Overnight, the USraelis attacked a tented encampment for displaced people on the beach in Beirut. There are many martyrs. The Israelis also attacked a Lebanese University in Beirut, killing several scientists.
Beirut University was also hit.
Iranian/Palestinian/Lebanese Casualties
According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, 7 people were killed and 21 injured in the raid on Rmeileh al-Bayda. Overnight, 3 civilians were killed and another injured after a Zionist attack on the village of Aramoun in Lebanon. According to this report in Tass, the Iranians claim to have suffered 1,348 civilian deaths and 17,000 injured since the conflict began on February 28th. Late in the day, the Lebanese Health Ministry announced another 9 martyrs and 7 wounded. In Nablus on the West Bank 2 Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces. The murderous USraelis have killed 50 civilians and injured 286 in Hamadan province in Iran. Several scientists were killed in an attack on a Lebanese University. I wonder how long Iran will be able to refrain from attacking Israeli civilians?

According to this report, Oman’s FM has announced that Oman will not joining Trump’s ‘peace council’ and will not normalise relations with Israel. Today, Trump publicly announced victory over Iran. A UN Security resolution condemning Iran but not mentioning the USraeli attacks has been supported by 13 members: Russia and China abstained. A draft resolution by Russia calling for a ceasefire and talks was rejected. The UNSC is a complete joke.
In his first public address, the New Supreme Leader of Iran, Ali Khamenei, has announced that Iran will continue to destroy US bases and will keep the Straits of Hormuz closed to unfriendly countries. He also apologised to Gulf States for having to attack the US bases in their countries and asked their leaders to shut down US bases. He said that he wishes to establish good relations with neighbouring countries. The Supreme Leader thanked his own forces, Hezbollah, the resistance and the Iranian people for their support and warned that Iran could expand the war and will be seeking compensation as part of any future deal. He also promised to avenge the blood of the martyrs and vowed that if compensation is not forthcoming Iran will destroy USrael assets of equivalent value. This man is no pussycat: neither is this Iranian spokesman who warned that should the USraelis attack Iranian Islands:
We will abandon all restraint and make the Persian Gulf run with the blood of invaders.
A ceasefire appears out of the question then! The situation with air defences has become so bad that the USraelis have stolen all South Korea’s THAD systems leaving it defenceless, according to Nima.

Iranian Attacks - Jerusalem Day
According to the IRGC, the carrier Abraham Lincoln has been significantly damaged by missiles/drones and is returning to the US. Wave 44 of Operation True Pomise - 4 was launched today as missiles and drones targeted the occupied territories according to this. The IRGC announced that 44 precision and heavy missiles of the Khorramshahr, Khaybar Shakin, Fateh, and Imad models were used.. US assets in Bahrain were attacked along with targets in Haifa. Warning sirens are sounding at the Incirlik Air Base in southern Turkiye, according to this. A ballistic missile was reported to be heading towards the NATO country. The missile, which hit the Incirlik base, could have been launched by Israel or Iran. I have no idea. Al-Quds, Eilat, Tel Aviv were attacked along with US bases in Manama and Erbil.
Hezbollah/Resistance
Hezbollah is engaged in fierce fighting with the Israelis in Lebanon while the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has carried out 31 attacks in the past 24 hours.
USrael Attacks
According to this report, the US has exhausted its year long stockpile of ammunition in Iran. Today, the Israelis continued their attacks on residential targets in Beirut.
Iranian/Palestinian and Lebanese Casualties
Two airstrikes on the town of Qalileh in Southern Lebanon caused many casualties but I don’t have details.
In the Imam of the town of Nabatiyeh al-Fouqa, Sheikh Hassan Ghandour, died from his injuries after the occupation forces attacked his home in the town yesterday.
USrael Casualties
Today, a rocket launched by Hezbollah hit the town of Zarazir in Galilee, damaging 300 houses and injuring 80. According to this, a French soldier was killed in an attack on Erbil airbase. Two more were killed by Iranian strikes on Oman - according to the Jerusalem Post.
