A while ago I posted a preface to a book I have been writing - i.e. Philosophising in a Phoney World - because I thought it would benefit people. At that time, I hadn’t really appreciated the degree of support it received among my subscribers because I was new to substack. Not sure why you don't go the whole hog with atheism. A forgiving God would allow you to change your mind and beg forgiveness in any case. A vengeful deity would have you screwed on any smell of doubt. If neither of them exist you go to the eternal sleep.
