Ending the Israel/Gaza updates is a shame, but it is probably more important to keep the Ukraine one going, as so many people have pivoted to Israel/Gaza that it is easier to get news of what is happening there.

I’ve been following the tragedy of Ukraine since shortly after Maidan and “Vicky Noodles” handing out cookies- agree that your efforts are better focused there than in Gaza where there is no shortage of journalists working to get the news of the “ new Nakba” out to the world at large. Also, you ought to leave a little time available for busking!

There are plenty covering Gaza which is how it should be - but I simply can't do both (though I did try). Well - put it this way, I could cover both but I have too many interests and commitments to be tied to a treadmill.

Anyway, I've been covering the SMO since about March 2022, initially for family and friends, and that's what most of you have subscribed for. So from my point of view, it is more important that I continue with Ukraine. It's much less draining than Gaza, which is exposing the Israelis as a 'bunch of savages' that so far no one appears to be able to stop. Yeah, busking: I haven't picked up the guitar in a while and my finger tips are too soft now. So I should do a bit more of that.

I concur that the “zionutzies” are quickly becoming beyond redemption. All the more reason to pick up the guitar periodically for “mental hygiene” After seeking treatment for joint pain in my left thumb and some carpal tunnel numbness in the fingertips, a physical therapist made it clear that I had to lighten up my technique “or else “! The solution was a nylon string and no picks. Symptoms gone ang grins improved!

I've got Dupuytrens contracture - had two ops already and need a third. Playing is difficult to say the least.

Yikes! Best wishes for a successful procedure and a speedy recovery! I’m still in a skilled nursing facility after spinal cord surgery to repair damaged neck bones - left side was pretty paralyzed- still relearning how to walk etc. Fingers remember what to do and getting less clumsy but still have a little way to go before I’m “ shredding” again- currently playing a 7/8 size classical-looks and sounds full size but much easier to navigate and carry around. Rock on amigo!

Sorry to hear that you are stopping the Palestine-summaries. In the ocean of news (and lies) this was always helpful to stay afloat.

I will probably do articles on Palestine but an Update is a bit too much. My wife will be pleased. I also have a book that is in need of finishing/editing. Glad that it was useful to you.

I now have more likes for my announcement to end the Israeli-Palestine Update than I've had for the latest Israeli-Palestine Update itself!!! Is that telling me something, I wonder?
