Iran War Summary: Week Ten
8th May 2026
I am still referring to the partially paused conflict between the USraelis and Iran as the Iran War because these countries are still at war - even though the conflict has taken a different form. Trump’s claim that there has been no conflict between the US and Iran is false. Shots have been fired and acts of war committed in the process of US combatants boarding Iranian ships and the US blockade itself is an act of war. Iran is also firing missiles at US shipping. On May 7th US and Iranian naval forces confronted each other around Hormuz while the US attacked residential areas and a naval port in Iran (see below). Trump tried to claim that a mythical ‘ceasefire’ is in place but this is nonsense: the war continues.
Meanwhile, Israel is still attacking Iran’s allies in Lebanon and Palestine and shows no signs of stopping. Mythical ceasefires are in place here also. I would be surprised if public opinion in Iran will tolerate a position on the sidelines for much longer and the US cannot refrain from attacking Iran for very long with the rabid Zionists behind it, eager for more blood letting. But I am not going to make any predictions.
This conflict can be seen as a fight by oppressed people against imperialism as I said many week ago, but it can also be seen as a conflict between truth and falsehood. According to Yemeni newspaper Saba:
The head of the Iranian Studies Institute, Ali Akbar Salehi, affirmed that Iranians are certain of victory because they know they are on the side of truth and their enemies are on the side of falsehood. He emphasized that these enemies themselves acknowledge they are facing a strong nation and powerful armed forces.
There is no higher representative of falsehood than Donald J. Presenting something that bears a closer resemblance to reality than the Trump team’s fairytales is disconcerting. If I were to provide someone with my own version of this reality they would think me mad and give me a wide berth. But these fairytales go beyond a distortion of reality to provide the antithesis of reality. Looking at this situation, George Orwell would have been dismayed.
61% of Americans believe that the Iran war was a mistake and some members of the US Congress want to withdraw Trump’s authority to continue the war. But no one appears to be able or willing to stop this conflict which has been on the verge of boiling over again. The Zionists continue to murder, maim and destroy in Lebanon and in Gaza but casualties among their soldiers are mounting. Donald J continues to indulge himself in the delusion of victory and imaginary talks with the defeated foe. One minute he claims to have a deal; the next he talks about wiping Iran off the face of the earth. But all signs point to an American defeat. In view of all this, it has been a tense week.
I am keeping the two Updates separate once again: you can read the Ukraine Update here.
1st May - Post Publication
During the afternoon, Hezbollah hit a group of IDF soldiers in Al-Bayyadh with a swarm of drones, causing casualties. A Markava tank was also hit in Rashaf and a group of IDF soldiers was hit by a swarm of drones in Tyre. Late in the evening, Hezbollah hit Galilee and the Golan Heights with drones along with Kiryat Shmona. At the same time the Zionists launched thermal balloons over Nabatiya and are attacking numerous towns in Southern Lebanon. Late in the evening, Hezbollah inflicted heavy losses on a large IDF force in a well-prepared ambush while it was advancing towards Deir Suryan on the Zawtar River.
Not long before midnight the Zionists launched 35 raids against Zoutar using banned phosphorous shells. At the same time, Lebanese sources reported that ambulances and evacuation teams were operating in the village of Houla where there are many dead and wounded among the IDF forces which have retreated.
It seems that Donald J has told Netanyahu to stop bombing Lebanon because it looks bad - according to Colonel MacGregor - but the fighting is more fierce now than it was before the ‘ceasefire’: the Lebanese war is in full swing.
On the 30th April, drunken sailor Hegseth admitted that it would take months or even years to replace the ammunition expended during the attack on Iran. The next day Trump claimed that the US has double the munitions it had before it struck Iran - which shows that the Trump team can’t even coordinate their deceptions.
Hegseth faces growing criticism from Democrats about his leadership style, his purging of senior military officers and his efforts to centralise military power in his own hands. Trump continues to back him for the moment but he could become a convenient scapegoat at some point.
Trump is claiming that the war on Iran has ended so that he can avoid Congress’s 60 day rule. But as I said above, I am treating the war as if it is still being fought though in a different way for the moment. It is now a maritime war which will eventually morph into an air war - as it was before. Some sort of US ground attack is also possible. 26 Iranian ships broke the blockade today.
Abbas Araghchi claims that the US has spent $100 billions on the war so far; not the $61 billion some US sources claim.
2nd May - Day 63
The Fighting
Early this morning, the Zionists killed 3 civilians in the Tyre Region. Their raids have been confined to Southern Lebanon so far.
According to the “Israel Hayom” newspaper:
It’s hard to ignore the frustration in the Israeli army over the situation in Lebanon. What was supposed to be a strategic ambush by Hezbollah to bring it to its knees, has turned into a strategic ambush for Israel.
During the morning, Zionist evacuation helicopters carrying IDF wounded were landing at hospitals in Galilee and Safed. In the afternoon the Zionists killed 6 in Shoukin and Mefdoun in Southern Lebanon while in the West Bank settlers injured 7 Palestinians. Later in the afternoon, the Zionists injured a civilian in the Gaza Strip while Hezbollah shot down another Hermes 450 combat drone. In the early evening, a civilian was killed by a drone east of the Gaza Strip. Two more were killed by Zionist airstrikes this evening in Zibdin - Southern Lebanon.
Political/Diplomatic/Military Moves
On our way back from Iran, we will probably have the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier - the largest in the world - we will make it come, stop about 100 yards from the shore, and they will say a big thank you, we surrender.
Trump on Iran
These people tried to hold up our country for years and years by closing the Strait of Hormuz.
CNN has reported that the once great US bases in Qatar, Kuwait and elsewhere are now sitting ducks vulnerable to Iranian targeted strikes with ‘advanced technology’. At least 16 bases were destroyed and the cost of the damage and reconstruction could reach $50 billions. You can read more at the Palestinian Times.
Iran has apparently softened its approach to negotiations. The WSJ is reporting that Tehran is ready to discuss several key issues at once - the opening of the Strait of Hormuz, the cessation of strikes, the lifting of the naval blockade, and its nuclear program in exchange for the easing of sanctions. I can’t be sure, but it sounds as if Iran is stringing Trump along. Pakistan is being considered as a possible venue for talks at the beginning of next week.
The following has been submitted by Iran to the US for consideration:
- Guarantees against aggression
- US troop withdrawal from ‘Iran’s surroundings’
- Release frozen assets
- Compensation + sanctions lifted
- Peace everywhere including Lebanon
- New Hormuz system
- End to naval blockade
You can read more detail at the Palestinian Chronicle.
In what sounds like projection, Trump responded by claiming that Iran has done something to Humanity and the World over the past 47 years but he doesn’t say what it has done. During the same period, of course, the US has terrorised the world: invaded numerous countries and killed millions of civilians. It has also been the Zionist’s partner in genocide.
A Reminder1
Now I wonder, how many countries has Iran attacked?
Iran’s First Deputy Speaker Ali Nikzad said Tehran has drafted a law to ban Israeli vessels from crossing the Strait of Hormuz and to restrict ships from hostile countries unless they pay war reparations.
3rd May - Day 64
The Fighting
The Zionist attacked numerous towns and villages in Southern Lebanon this morning while a drone attack on a motorcycle in Jouya injured 2. In Haris, the Zionists killed a man on his motorcycle. In Arabsalim, 2 civilians were martyred and 2 injured by a Zionist air strike. Around midday, the Zionists killed a young Palestinian man and injured 4 others in the city of Nablus. In the afternoon another civilian was martyred east of Khan Younis. During the evening, Hezbollah was busy hitting IDF forces gathered in al Qantara with a rocket salvo and hitting another group with artillery at Al Bayada.
Political/Diplomatic/ Military Moves
A Hezbollah Representative in the Lebanese Parliament has stated unequivocally:
We are not interested in the negotiations and their outcomes, and we will not implement them or allow them to pass.
With reference to negotiations, Abd al-Jabbar Said, a member of the Hamas Political Bureau said:
Hamas responded positively to the proposal on the condition that the obligations of the first phase of the agreement be fulfilled, which the occupation has consistently violated and breached on a daily basis before proceeding to discuss the details of the second phase.
I can confirm that the Zionists have not proceeded beyond stage one as they continue to kill Palestinians in Gaza and elsewhere on a daily basis. They are still destroying Palestinian homes and are occupying more and more of Gaza city.
Many activists from the Samud Gaza flotilla were captured and mistreated by the Zionists. Some were beaten and denied food and water. You can read more at the Palestinian Chronicle. Spain has condemned the illegal detention of one of its citizens.
We have seen a 15 point plan, a 10 point plan and many more but on the 3rd May Iran came up with a 14 point plan which you can read about at the Palestinian Chronicle. Iran has rejected Trump’s suggestion of a two month ceasefire and wants a broader settlement to be agreed with 30 days which would end all the wars in the region permanently. This appears to be Iran’s version of theatre in my view: the gap between the US position and that of Iran is as wide as that between Ukraine and Russia - therefore any negotiations are pointless.
Today, Trump announced that the U.S. will begin assisting foreign ships trapped inside the Strait of Hormuz starting Monday under “Project Freedom,” adding that any interference will be met with force. The US ships will not necessarily escort ships but will remain ‘in the vicinity’ to prevent Iranian attacks on shipping. The US navy will advise ships of safe shipping lanes. But this did not prevent Iran from attacking shipping that refused to comply with IRGC instructions (see below). I think the propaganda value of the project’s name will be greater than anything else to be gained from this facade which Trump is pathetically describing as a ‘humanitarian gesture’, according to Tass. Hey Donald, why did you not stop the genocide in Gaza as a ‘humanitarian gesture’?
4th May - Day 65
The Fighting
Early this morning, Iran struck 2 vessels with anti-ship missiles 78 Nautical Miles off the coast of Fujairah, UAE. The vessels attempted to cross the Straits of Hormuz without permission from the IRGC. They had turned off their transponders and were suspected to be operating in US interests. I’m not sure whether Trump’s ‘Project Freedom’ had been initiated prior to this attack or not.
Iran also attacked 2 US warships with missiles near Jask Island after the vessels disobeyed IRGC warnings.
Ibrahim Rezaei, the spokesperson for the National Security Committee in the Iranian Parliament, said:
The Strait of Hormuz was not closed with a tweet, and it will not be opened with a tweet. The way to open the strait is either by accepting defeat, reaching an agreement, and recognizing Iran’s sovereignty and leadership over the strait, or by returning to the battlefield, accepting another humiliating defeat, and recognizing Iran’s sovereignty and leadership over the Strait of Hormuz. There is no other way left but this.
The US had to deny that its ships were attacked but according to this report, 2 US ships fled from the area. The Iranians are not in the mood for compromise after being messed about by Trump for more than a year. In the afternoon, the IRGC hit a South Korean ship off the coast of the UAE.
The Zionists frequently ask villagers in Southern Lebanon to evacuate so that their homes can be destroyed more humanely. This morning, they issued an urgent warning to the residents of Qana, Dibal, Qaqiyat al-Jisr, and Srifa in southern Lebanon, asking them to evacuate their homes immediately.
Late this morning, a ‘security incident’ (i.e. an attack on the IDF) was reported by the Zionists in Southern Lebanon as a military helicopter landed at Rambam hospital with wounded soldiers. In the afternoon, more helicopters arrived at the hospital in Safed. Early in the evening, 2 civilians were martyred in air strikes on Khraibeh in Southern Lebanon. Since this morning in Gaza, 3 Palestinians have been killed and many wounded by Israeli gunfire and artillery. Late in the evening, Hezbollah hit another Merkava tank in Al-Bayyadah with a guided missile.
During the past 24 hours, the Zionists have killed 9 and injured 24 in the Gaza Strip.
Late in the afternoon, it was reported that missiles attacked Fujairah in the UAE. An Iranian spokesman later confirmed that Iran had carried out these attacks in retaliation for an UAE attack on Iran. This is the terminal has been used to export oil since Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz: it is now seriously damaged. John Mearsheimer believes that 2 millions barrels a day was being exported from this source. This could be the reason for Iran’s pre-emptive strike - though there could be other reasons, of course - such as information received about an imminent attack coming from the UAE. The Iranians will make sure that no oil is exported from this source. The lack of exports will severely injure the UAE’s economy so this is a bit of a coup for Iran.
If the full scale war starts up again, Iran could also prevent oil coming out of Yanbu on the west coast of Saudi Arabia - as Mearsheimer suggests. They could also close the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait, team up with the Houthis in Yemen and shut down the Red Sea. Indeed, Iran may have many new cards to play yet.
The Iranians also hit a tanker attempting to slip out of the port and an oil tank in the port itself - though these things could have been damaged by drone fragments.
Later, the Iranians were accused of attacking Dubai - but denied any involvement. Bahrain has declared a national state of emergency. During the evening, it was reported that explosions were heard in Abu Dhabi and the port of Jebel Ali. These attacks, along with those alleged in Dubai, have not been confirmed.
The US claims to have destroyed 6 Iranian boats which were attempting to strike ships in Hormuz. Iran has denied this. However, an Iranian source reported that the Americans hit a number of civilian boats carrying cargo from Oman to Iran, killing 5 civilians. The US is really talented at destroying little boats that can’t fight back but reluctant to engage with armed vessels.
Political/Diplomatic/Military Moves
Donald J is playing the matter down, strangely, claiming that only one missile evaded the UAE defences but caused little damage. Iran hasn’t violated the ceasefire, he said. Clearly, the Trump administration is not ready for full on war with Iran just yet, otherwise it would not have overlooked this incident. Iranian State Television reported that a high ranking Iranian official has denied the attacks on the UAE but it appears that Iran will benefit. At this point the picture surrounding these attacks on the UAE is confused with conflicting reports coming from Iran. So, is Iran telling porkies or was this a false flag?? Mahmood OD believes that all the attacks on the UAE were carried out by Iran as part of a pre-emptive strike against a country that is supportive of Israel and could have been preparing an attack on Iran. Colonel Wilkinson has pointed out that Trump’s attempts to take over Hormuz are futile whereas Iran can very easily maintain complete control over the Straits. So, Trump has made the situation worse with fewer ships likely to come out of the Straits following the attempts by his own ships to break Iran’s blockade.
A Zionist TV network has stated that unless Iran’s enriched uranium is captured (i.e. stolen), the entire operation since February 28th must be judged as a failure.
Brent Crude - $108.31 - later, after the action against the UAE, Brent Crude rose to $114.24.
5th May - Day 66
The Fighting
Early this morning, the Zionists killed a civilian north of Gaza City. Later, Hezbollah damaged two D-9 bulldozers with drones. The Zionists have killed 3 and injured 11 in Gaza during the past 24 hours. After a ‘security incident’ reported this morning, helicopters are ferrying IDF wounded to Safed hospital and are in the air above Galilee. Hezbollah managed to hit one of these helicopters with a surface to air missile. Another group of IDF soldiers was hit in the town of Deir Sryan early in the afternoon. Around the same time, it was reported that Iran has seized 2 US commercial ships in the Straits of Hormuz. In the afternoon, the Zionists killed another civilian in the vicinity of Kuwait roundabout on Salah al-Din Street. Shelling on Gaza City murdered 2, including a child, while injuring many more. In late afternoon, it was reported that drones and missiles had attacked the UAE. During the evening, 2 civilians were killed and many injured in an air strike on Deir Kifa in Southern Lebanon. Late in the evening, Hezbollah hit a group of IDF soldiers in Quantara causing casualties.
Political/Diplomatic/Military Moves
According to Yemeni news outlet Saba:
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated on Tuesday that reducing politics to the concept of power alone leads to a world dominated by chaos, oppression, injustice, and piracy.
This evening, spokesman of Iran’s IRGC Central Headquarters, Brigadier Ibrahim Zolfaghari, warned that any military move launched from UAE territory against Iranian islands, ports, or coasts would be met with a “crushing and regret-inducing response.”
Trump has appointed pro-Israeli hardliner Nick Stewart to the Iran negotiating team. Stewart is a suitable candidate having condemned any negotiations with Iran’s elected leaders. Trump wants capitulation rather than bargaining so Nicky will fit the bill.

6th May - Day 67
The Fighting
Early this morning, according to an Al-Manar correspondent:
A mother, her daughter, and her son were martyred and another was injured in the bombing of a house in Zalaya, a town in the Bekaa region of eastern Lebanon, by the occupation’s air force. The operations to remove the rubble are still ongoing.
Overnight, the Iranians attacked Kurdish terrorists with drones in Komala, Kurdish Iraq. A French owned vessel was struck by an Iranian cruise missile near Dubai, injuring several crew members. Early this morning, it was reported that the Iranian navy (which shouldn’t exist, according to the Donald) warned off an American destroyer encroaching on the Strait of Hormuz. The destroyer meekly obeyed this non-existent demand from a non-existent navy and turned tail.
In Eastern Lebanon, the Zionists killed 3 civilians in Zaleya while Hezbollah attacked a group of IDF soldiers in Qozah, scoring a direct hit. During the afternoon, the Zionists killed 2 civilians between Wadi Jilu and Tyre. From dawn today, the Zionists killed 8 civilians in Gaza. But this is not all: in the early evening they killed 1 and injured many more in an airstrike west of Khan Younis in the Southern Gaza strip. Significantly, during the evening the Zionists bombed civilian building in the suburbs of Beirut which has been spared their death ray for a while - on Trump’s orders, I think. Anyway - this is the latest development is escalatory. According to various reports, the Zionists targeted the leader of Hezbollah’s ‘Ridwan’ commander in Beirut. According to another report, the commander, Ahmed Ghaleb Balout, was killed. Later, the rabid Zionists bombed a residential neighbourhood in Al-Zaytoun - killing 3 and during the evening they killed a man in Gaza. Hezbollah responded to the attacks by launching drones at Kiryat Shmona and hitting IDF forces near Al-Bayada. Late at night, Iranian drones attacked Erbil in Kurdish Iraq.
Due to the Zionist’s seizure of large parts of Gaza, 2.1 million people are crammed into approximately half of the original Gaza Strip.
Political/Diplomatic/Military Moves
Today, Trump announced the suspension or ‘pause’ of the stunt that was ‘Project Freedom’. It had lasted less than 48 hours and did not open the Straits of Hormuz. As soon as Iran countered the Project, Trump pulled it. But according to this report, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait cut off access to US bases and airspace in response to Tump’s hair brained Project which could have accounted for its very short life span. Trump had not confided in his allies about the plan: it came as a complete surprise to them when he posted his Project on social media. b and commentators discuss this at the MoA. Shortly after Trump made the announcement, the US attacked an empty Iranian tanker near Oman, disabling its rudder, according to RT.
‘Freedom’ may have been designed to reduce the price of Crude and it worked - but for how long. b and commentators discuss this latest market scam at the MoA. The Iranians have introduced a legal framework for administrating the Straits which consolidates their control and sovereignty over Hormuz - as you can read here. Fees will be charged and accepted only in Rials; passage can be obtained only through lanes designated by Iran and ‘unfriendly’ countries will not be allowed in or out.
Early this morning, it was reported that Military Advisor to the Supreme Leader, Major General Mohsen Rezaei warned:
Trump, the Secretary of Defense, and the Chief of Staff are promoting their delusions as achievements. What awaits American forces will not be “Normandy” or “Sicily,” but rather something very similar to “Tabas” and “Isfahan.” So do not indulge in illusions.
Trump also harbours illusions about the Iranian people as he promotes civil war, offering to supply arms to would be dissenters. Lyndsay Graham is right behind him. They don’t know about (or choses to ignore) the millions of Iranians who are on the streets every night in support of their government.
Following a period when US air activity over Europe and West Asia was in overdrive, it has nevertheless collapsed since Trump ordered a ‘pause’ to Project Freedom. According to the Islander:
In the last 24 hours, American military aircraft airborne across the region have collapsed — from over 27 yesterday to just 7 right now. All logistics and tankers: C-17 Globemasters, a C-5M Super Galaxy, and KC-135 Stratotankers shuttling between Ramstein, Spangdahlem, Tel Aviv, Abu Dhabi, and Al Udeid. No combat birds. No surge.
I wonder whether there was more to Project Freedom than simply escorting ships through Hormuz?
Araghchi met with Wang Yi in Beijing today where they discussed the situation in West Asia and the Middle East.
Araghchi said:
Strait of Hormuz must be reopened as soon as possible
Current crisis cannot be resolved through military means
Iran will firmly defend its sovereignty and national dignity
Iran remains ready to seek a long-term solution through peaceful negotiations.
Wang Yi said:
China is ready to help de-escalate tensions and push for a ceasefire in the Middle East in line with proposals by Chinese President Xi Jinping
Countries of the Persian Gulf and Middle East should determine their own destiny
China supports dialogue and good-neighbor relations between Iran and the Gulf states
China backs a regional security framework based on solidarity, mutual interests, and shared development.
No doubt Xi Jinping will express these sentiments when (or if) Trump goes to Beijing as planned.
The Washington Post is reporting that 228 facilities at US bases in the Gulf were destroyed during the active phase of this war. The US has previously played down the damage.
The latest goal of the US’s mission against Iran is to restore the situation in the Straits of Hormuz ‘back to the way it was’ before Trump started the war, according to Marco Rubio. The focus is not on previous objectives, such as regime change, but a return to the status quo ante in Hormuz before America messed things up.
Trump Deadlines - c/o the Two Majors:
Trump, March 15: Iran has just 48 hours, otherwise hell will rain down on them.
Trump, March 28: Iran has just 72 hours, otherwise hell will rain down on them.
Trump, April 4: Iran has until 8 PM, otherwise hell will rain down on them.
Trump, April 5: Iran has just one week, otherwise hell will rain down on them.
Trump, April 15: Iran has just 48 hours, otherwise hell will rain down on them.
Trump today: Iran has just 24 hours, otherwise hell will rain down on them.
Trump a few minutes ago: I set a one-week deadline for completing the agreement with Iran.
Trump, who just loves his deadlines (above), has given Iran a week to make a deal - Or Else!
Iranian Foreign affairs spokesman, Ismail Baghaei, has advised that Iran is interested only in negotiations conducted in good faith: negotiations are not about conflict or dictation, deception, blackmail or coercion (all of which are part of Trump’s ‘deals’).

7th May - Day 68
The Fighting
This morning, the Zionists were forcing residents to evacuate several towns in South Lebanon so they could bomb them into dust while Hezbollah hit an artillery base at Rab Thalathin with drones. The Israelis targeted many town in Southern Lebanon this morning. Also this morning, 10 wounded Israeli soldiers were taken to Rambam hospital in Haifa. Zionist drones struck an area close to the hospital in Toul and once ambulances arrived they attacked again, destroying ambulances and injuring/killing paramedics.
Early in the afternoon, strikes by Zionist helicopters caused deaths and injuries west of Gaza while 2 motorcyclists were killed in Ain Baal (Southern Lebanon). A Hezbollah security HQ was hit west of Gaza causing deaths and injuries. In mid afternoon 2 civilians were injured by IDF gunfire north of the Gaza strip while 2 more were martyred in an attack on a car in Tyre District. Late in the afternoon Hezbollah destroyed yet another Merkava tank in Bint Jbeil and the Zionists announced another ‘security incident’ in Southern Lebanon. Shortly afterwards, the Zionists announced that helicopters were transferring wounded to hospitals in Galilee and the North. Late in the afternoon, Hezbollah’s drones destroyed a newly established Zionist Dome battery in Jall al-Allam.
During the evening, Iranian news reported that 6 explosions were heard near Bandar Abbas and Qeshm (see above map). Later it was reported that:
Bahman Port of Qeshm island was struck during an “Exchange Of Fire With The Enemy”.
The ‘Enemy’, according to a Fox News, was the US but the UAE was also involved, according to this.
Another source reported that 5 refueling aircraft had taken off from the UAE - which sounds ominous. At 19.42 GMT Trench Mirror reported that explosions were heard in residential areas of Sirik (south eastern Iran). Some believe that UAE planes were behind this attack but this report accuses the Americans. Explosions were also reported to have been heard in the vicinity of Hormuz. These latter were the result of missile fire from the Iranians targeting American ships that had been breaking the ceasefire by assaulting an Iranian oil tanker close to Jask. According to this report, three American destroyers were attacked with ballistic and anti-ship cruise missiles along with drones. The US ships suffered heavy losses and were obliged to retreat. With no one to contradict him, the Donald is claiming that the Iranian missiles attacking the US ships were destroyed ‘with ease’ and that the attacking forces were ‘knocked out’.
The Americans also attacked the Iranian navy base at Minab in Southern Iran. In spite of this, Trump is claiming that a ceasefire is still in place. Such a claim involves an abuse of language: a ceasefire cannot be said to be in place when everyone is breaking it. The new situation involves a limited and restrained war: not a ceasefire. The same applies to Lebanon and Gaza.
In retaliation for the US attacks on residential areas in Iran, the Iranians attacked and damaged US shipping east of Hormuz and south of Chabahar port.
Around the same time, Israeli news reported another ‘security incident’ (i.e. an attack on the IDF) in Southern Lebanon. Field sources report that four Zionist military vehicles were targeted in the Beit al-Sayed al-Mansouri area with guided missiles.
Late at night, explosions were heard in Abu Dhabi.
It seems that the Zionists have increased their genocidal activities in Gaza, this week.
Political/Diplomatic/Military Moves
Today, Iran’s President, Pezeshkian announced that he had met with Supreme Leader, Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei, who some believe to be dead. They talked for two and a half hours. According to Resistance Trench:
Pezeshkian said the Supreme Leader’s humble, sincere, and respectful approach created an atmosphere of trust, calmness, empathy, and direct conversation.
He added that the Leader’s ethical character, simplicity, and people-centered spirit can serve as a model for the country’s managerial and administrative system, based on responsibility, closeness to the people, and genuinely listening to issues and public concerns.
According to Tass, the US and Iran are in talks about easing the US blockade in exchange for a resumption of shipping allowed through Hormuz by the Iranians. There has been no confirmation of this from the Iranians - as I write.
The French have sent the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaul into the Middle East, according to Tass. It will accompany ships passing through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea.
In the afternoon the US imposed new sanctions on Iran, according to this while in the evening, Brandon Weichert, a former US Congress staffer claimed that:
High-ranking Navy commanders are refusing to follow Trump’s orders to enter the Strait of Hormuz after Iran destroyed their key refueling base.
Perhaps this was also a factor in the demise of Project Freedom.
Late this evening Hamas made an announcement that criticised Israel for not conforming to Stage One of the Sharm el-Sheikh Peace Agreement which it has conformed with in every respect. But the Zionists simply can’t stop killing so have broken the ceasefire constantly. In spite of this, the Israelis are pushing for Stage Two to be implemented and Hamas disarmed. The announcement made it clear that Stage Two is out of the question until Israel conforms to Stage One.

8th May - Day 69
The Fighting
Early this morning, it was reported that the Emirati army is dealing with a missile threat. Zionist rescues helicopters were in the air this morning evacuating IDF wounded to hospitals in the North, according to another report. Also this morning, Israeli media reported injuries to IDF soldiers in Ras al-Naqoura on the Lebanese border. Late this morning, in the town of Tora, the Zionists killed 4 and injured 4 while Hezbollah hit a D-9 dozer in Al-Bayyadah and launched rockets at Haifa bay.

1999 China should not have been included since this refers to the Chinese embassy in the Balkans which was hit by accident.

'Countries bombed by the US : China 1999' , this must mean the Chinese embassy they bombed 'by accident' in the Balkans, just thought to mention it in case someone else besides me starts to scratch their heads about that.
It’s not a war!
