Next Ukraine Update To Be Published on 9th August 2024
Those who read my last Update will know that I would not be publishing this week - but those who didn’t read it will not know. I have spent the week camping in the highlands with only intermittent internet access. I also needed a rest after publishing weekly for more than a year. Now I have lots of catching up to do. Try to avoid Inverlochy. The gaelic war poet Ian Lom wrote a great poem about the Battle of Inverlochy 1645 where he mocked the defeated Campbells by writing that their congealed blood mixed with sheep dung. Apparently, that was a great insult back in the day. Have a nice one.
